Illustration Experiment #3: People Doing Things

Rationale:

I really love drawing portraits, but this was on another level of difficulty for me. It took me a while to complete, but I am happy with how it turned out in the end. This is actually my second try of illustrating people doing things. The first one was more abstract and there wasn't as much detail. I think I did an alright job at portraying two girls out shopping! And yes they do look a little scary, I did not intend for them to be so.

Happy birthday to big heart Aussie Chef. . . “ Couchsurfing is a very popular choice in the developing world, especially in major places.  Very few people know about the culture of Couchsurfing in India and even lesser prefer to meet, greet and host travelers like me. When I was offered a summer internship in 2016 work in CSIRO in Brisbane. I was excited yet litter bit worried about my accommodation on the arrival of a new country and It was the first time I experience it.  I searched for a stay before going there through Facebook groups and could have lost hundreds of dollars in a bogus deal from a dealer. I posted a public post looking for a host on www.couchsurfing.com. And suddenly one day I had a notification from an old Aussie man. He offered me to stay until I rent a place. I accepted it. Why not? And I was overwhelmed by the culture of sharing and caring at the house of Shri Barry Wright. He has always opened his doors for travelers haling them to adjust to the city. I stayed in his house for 4 weeks until I found a place on rent :D. He was so grateful to me and other people. It is a great spirit at this age to offer such hospitality and delicious food decided from which country new people come next. Two couples from London and one south Korean guy have also visited us for a few days. Barry is a great chef and today is his birthday. I wished him happy birthday. He is doing great staying home.
