Reason: Okay hear me out- Both of them have had to fight through a tower that gets harder the more they progress, and when they defeat the final boss, their tower collapses and they have to escape quickly before it crumbles on them. I think it'd be cute if they had a cup of tea together and bonded over their similar experiences.

Plus they'd be like a bootleg Princess Peach and Mario lmao. Beautiful princess/Literally just some guy dynamic.

Your reasoning made me wheeze it is so funny XD And, honestly, them bonding over their experiences is probably just the thing the pair needed. Both in general and to kick start a relationship :)

Also, honestly? While I do prefer the pictures in DMs so the ask isn't really long (or so I know if I need to like, filter/decline... Peppino calls Ada "principessa" (Italian for princess). At first just as a joke, then it stuck.

Considering Ada is a princess, most likely growing up, she had servants making meals and she probably had to ride in carriages. She wants to be independent though, so even if she sucks now, she wants to learn how to cook and drive herself. (She at least knows how to ride a horse)

One time, she tried making a pizza as a surprise and the whole building almost caught on fire lol

Spiders were an enemy Ada had to deal with at her tower, so now she's anxious whenever she sees a spider. One time she smashed a tiny spider with her hammer purely out of panic, to which she sheepishly apologized.

I think they're an affectionate couple, but they just prefer to be affectionate privately. Peppino gets flustered and a bit embarrassed with PDA, while Ada doesn't mind that much.

Peppino's favorite physical attribute about Ada is her hair because it kinda looks like spaghetti it's soft and smells nice.

Ada's favorite physical attribute about Peppino is his arms. No specific reason tbh.

Both of them make sounds when they're asleep. Peppino snores kinda loudly (Ada doesn't mind because the dragon's snoring was louder), and Ada mumbles some stuff, usually just gibberish.

Uh you know that one spongebob episode where Patrick repeatedly hits Spongebob with his house yelling "spiders!" in his sleep? Yeah Ada did that to Peppino with her hammer at least once because. Those spiders in her tower, man...

Ada initiated the first kiss. Peppino planned to, but every time, he got nervous and pulled away at the last second. Ada had enough of his bullshit (respectfully) and basically took him by surprise. He fainted.

Both of them are affected by their experiences in their respective towers. Peppino gets nervous every time he gets on an elevator. He still does it because it's better than stairs, but he slightly shakes. Ada, on the other hand, is now completely unafraid of heights and will just casually jump off a high place and land on her feet. She prefers taking a parachute, but she has no issues just...falling.

Tbh I think they were skittish of each other at first. Like they probably got a bad impression of each other, but thanks to reluctant interactions, they slowly started to like each other. They officially bonded once they found out they had similar experiences.

Peppino once wore his knight attire (the one he wears in the bloodsauce level, I think) to impress Ada. He forgot in the moment that the armor makes him walk slowly, so he looked more like a wobbling tin can than a gallant knight. At least he got a kiss on the cheek for his efforts.

Some more Ada/Peppino headcanons because why not

To clarify my "Peppino calling Ada princess in Italian" headcanon, it's something he only does privately, otherwise he just calls Ada by her name.

Ada tried calling Peppino "Il mio amore" one time (meaning "my love" in Italian). If it weren't for her pronouncing it as "Il meeo ah-mor-ray", Peppino would've straight up died on the spot/pos

She's learned how to pronounce it correctly since then. She mainly uses it lightheartedly, but she'll use it seriously when calming down Peppino when he's upset/angry.

One time, Ada tried using her fire hammer to help Peppino make a pizza. It ended disastrously, and Peppino had to explain that "No, you don't heat up pizza with fire". He was mad, but not for too long because he knew she was just trying to help.

You know that in-game animation where Peppino breakdances? Yeah he did that in front of Ada and she was genuinely impressed because she's never seen that before.

Ada rarely takes off her gloves, she does when she has to wash her hands or take a shower, but she'll quickly put them back on afterward. She says it's just because she likes wearing them, but Peppino kinda wonders if there's more to it than that. He doesn't press it further though. He appreciates the moments when they hold hands without her gloves, they feel soft and slightly cold.

I feel like Ada is also tired like Peppino, but it's way less obvious.

Their dates are rather simple, with mostly just the two of them being side-by-side and talking about whatever. Both of them just want someone who they can deeply trust.

This has happened between them at least once lol
