extraction shooters are like genuinely so unfun for me. it's like, hey what if we took the rng stress of a one life death match except you lose progress when you die lol.

#I've played exactly 3 extraction shooters and i bounced off so fast #i tried the cycle with my friends and they both liked it but i dipped out after maybe 2 or 3 sessions #then i tried hunt the showdown and uninstalled after two matches lol #and we also tried that cod dmz gamemode and it feels identical to warzone which i already don't like #and that was probably the least punishing of the three but like #idk the stakes are just too high #and at least when you're just playing a normal tdm game mode it's easier to just vibe and not give a shit #but extraction shooters are like ok you have to perform at peak and if you die you fuck your friends over too #and then everyone inevitably gets pissed when we lose bc you lose ALL your items you brought with you #like yeah yippie so fun being under constant stress #this is the same reason i don't ever play ranked anything lol #i just wanna be a silly goose and have fun and not give a shit lol
