Turun Kauppatorilla vietetään toripäivää, aurinkoisena kesäpäivänä 1954. Urho Hietanen on mustien lasiensa läpi tarkastelevinaan tomaatteja, eikä tuttu kauppias voi olla tulematta vastaan.

Kotonaan Eerikinkadulla Hietanen korjailee puista kukkalaatikkoa. Lautoja pitäisi uusia. Aurinko lämmittää, sisäpihalta kuuluu lasten ääniä, ampiainen, tuulenvire Aurajoen suunnalta. Tekee mieli laulaa, ja Hietanen laulaakin. Hänellä ei ole kovin hyvää lauluääntä, ja sen saavat tuta niin vaimo Helena kuin naapuritkin.

Valetta! Ei tule aurinkoista kesäpäivää, ei vaimoa, ei leikkiviä lapsia. On vain kuolema ja pimeys.

Hietanen haudataan Mynämäen harmaakivikirkon seinän viereen muiden kesällä 1944 kaatuneiden riviin, helvetin saviseen maahan.

Hund (meaning dog...yes we call people dogs here)

Schiefgelaufene Abtreibungen (unlucky abortion)

Drecksack (dickhead but directly translatet meaning dirtbag)

Penner (a mean version of a homeless person)

Misstück (hoe)

Mistglückter Abtreibungsversuch (again meaning unlucky abortion)

There are many more but overall you could literally use any German word as an insult if you say it aggressive enough.

I could literally call someone "Du scheiß Quantenphysik"

I suprisingly know most of them cus I did study germany for a year in highschool and only learned bad words cus I couldn't be bothered.

I'll give you back some Finnish swears in trade:

Saatana - (basically just satan)

Helvetti - (means hell but is used often is something goes wrong)

Perkele - (i don't know this meaning but it's a Finnish swear)

Perse - (ass)

Persereikä - (asshole)

Vittu - (pussy but used often with no contects)

Mulkku - (dick or dick head basically)

Pissa liisa - (used of a woman who is stuck up and annoying, often a bimbo)

Horo - (whore but in different form)

Paska- (just means shit)

There is a lot more that I don't teally know the meaning of but I use often such as:

helkatti, helkkari, helkutti, helskutti, hemmetti, hiisi, hiivatti, hitsi, hitto, jeesus, jeeveli, jessus, jukolauta, jukoliste, jukra, jukranpujut, juku, jumalauta, juukeli, juutas, jösses, kehno, kehveli, kirottu, lempo, pahus, pakana, pannahinen, peeveli, peijakas, pentele, perhana, perkele, perkule, permanto, perse, pirskatti, piru, pirulauta, raato, riivattu, ryökäle, räkä, saakeli, saakuri, saamari, saasta, samperi, syötävä, turkanen, täytinen, vitjat, vitsi.
