when you forget that you’re not the only Vints’ in camp now
truth be told though I am OBSESSED with the possibility of their dynamic.
Perrin and Ommar, in a committed 15 year marriage that they try to keep under wraps and hidden for each other’s safety
Dorian, fresh from the Imperium still reeling from the stark difference between Tevinter and Fereldan views on sexuality
Neither of them trusting each other at first because they both fit a nasty stereotype: Dorian being the ‘spoiled son of a magister’, and Perrin and Ommar being 'back-stabbing mercenaries’
cue enemies to friends arc
anyway, these boys are my favourite OCs

This is my OC squad :) finally drawn.
They are 1) my ocs, and 2) also reoccurring NPCs in my tabletop game. They all belong to the same scouting division of the Inquisition, which they’ve self-titled themselves as the Red Crow Company
Some character background under the cut:
Clemance O’Hoster: He grew up with his family in Haven - with his rebellious parents and two younger brothers he’s taken to mentoring. He enlisted in the Inquisition after the Divine Conclave, and his parents joined eagerly after the destruction of Haven, making the whole thing a family affair. He’s becoming incredibly resourceful and tactical for his young age, earning him a couple of promotions that now have him as second-in-command for the scout unit.
Volker Ullman: Rather shy and quiet for a professional dwarven brawler off the streets of Denerim, but truth be told, his passion was always for cooking. After taking a position as the personal chef of a Teyrn going to the Conclave, he got stranded in the South and then wrapped up in this Inquisition business.
Deyra’len Thenan: A self-proclaimed ‘magic scholar’ and by no means whatsoever was she an apostate. She’s incredibly social and always ready to spark conversations in camp about all kinds of things. Her thirst for knowledge had her in the company of some other ‘magic scholars’ and attending the Divine Conclave. After the mage-templar war erupted, her companions fled without a trace, and she remained in Haven - eager to learn more about this thing in the sky.
Perrin Jurobei and Ommar Russo: Two Tevinter ruffians-turned-mercenaries that have been (unofficially) married for the last 15-odd years. The complimentary quiet-and-pessimistic Perrin found that the optimistic-and-jovial spirit Ommar encompassed wormed its way into his stone heart, and they’re been rather inseparable ever since. Their latest job included escorting a Nevarran convoy from the College of Magi to the Divine Conclave. Upon the contract dissolving due to well...there no longer being a convoy to escort, they remained in Haven and sought out other opportunities.
Bartolo Loredan: An Antivan noble and son of a viscount who has tried everything to get out of his family responsibilities - which he’s managed to do in all the wrong ways. After being ex-communicated from his family, his choices were either to waste away on his aunt’s vineyard or run away into the night. He’s always been good at running, and found himself on a ship bound for Jader not long after the Divine Conclave. After hearing about the Inquisition, he thought it might be a good way to make up for his dishonor.
