DAY 14 of "The Sign made me workout"

Since yesterday I went shopping to the center part of the city (an 45 minute walk to get there) and then went back home walking again, so 1h30 minutes... yeah, I just did arms today, yesterday was my leg day + the morning upper body workout sdjlajsdaj

HOWEVER, I was filling a little stiff after today's workout, so I search the Radio Taiso exercises and did it as a cool down... OMG I FEEL NEW. I feel like a new born. I'm adding this for before and after the workout, magic stuff.

For breakfast we are having, you guessed it, tumeric tea but we are also having margarine toast with persimones spread on top, heaven.

Its getting really cold now so nights get close to freezing. Prior to the cold setting in I'm pretty sure my BSF larvae were moving around a bit and snacking on that various things i fed them. I made a post already saying how proud of them I am for surviving so well this winter but this is a special shoutout bc I love them so much!

I have 15 compost buckets now and almost all of them have BSF larvae that are pretty much thriving! Theyre doing so well I've never had to water most of the buckets, because theyre keeping them absolutely drenched in their excrement– a sign that theres still lotsa life! I tended to my buckets last night after it became overdue to aerate them and was so amused and joyed to find them that often huddled together between wet masses of leaves and substrate, and rotting fruit or veggies.

These guys, for instance, were just chillin between wet leaves and whats either a persimon or a tomato! (Photo below)

When i turn the buckets to aerate them, add dry material, food, and now very occassionaly water, these guys are sometimes exposed but when they are they dont really move because theyre in some sort of hibernation state. So its super cute to me seeing a mass of them cuddled up amongst each other, especially on a mass of food, eating but also staying warm. Its so nice seeing them surviving together and sharing meals even in such extreme weather. Idk i just think its so neat!

Im happy to see my lil buddies thriving this winter. I love feeding and taking care of them, providing them with warm food (microwaved) so they can sustain till spring and finish their life cycles! I love helping natures helpers.
