What quarantine taught me… During quarantine I think it took me a week for my body to learn how to relax. I realised how busy & rushed my life had become. Like any mum my days passed before my eyes ; School, work, school, after school activities, home, dinner preparation, dishes, washing, lunches, bed, frazzled, repeat. I read messages where people were stressed about being in quarantine. I was grateful for the time that I had to reflect and reconnect with myself and rediscover that sense of calm and peace again. It allowed me time to make better choices; I started reading again, exercising, eating healthier, even time to take an online Pilates course and don’t worry plenty of Netflix was enjoyed too! Now I’m back to work, but I feel that I have the energy to succeed every day. This quarantine time wasn’t like any holiday I’ve ever been on.
