Did someone say soft anon thoughts? Even though there’s not much on Wildfire I’ve read and made so many HCs about him and love this soft poetic boy 💕 I like to picture curling up with him under some blankets during downtown on the ship and reading poetry to one another, drinking tea. Maybe even watch some musicals together and sing songs to each other. I love him 🥺 -PhantomClone

“You look cozy.”

You’d been so absorbed in your poetry book that you hadn’t even noticed the door to your small room sliding open and shut for Wildfire to enter until he was standing next to your bunk, grinning down at you. You set your datapad aside so you were free to shift your next of blankets just enough so there was a clone-sized space next to you, one that Wildfire routinely filled. “I thought you’d be on shift longer!”

He shook his head as he took his armor off and set it aside before crawling up to sit next to you. Once the blankets were re-arranged to cover you both, he slipped one arm around your shoulders to pull you close, allowing him to press a kiss to your temple. “We had a bet going and I won, so the others are covering for me.”

You sighed happily and snuggled closer to him as you retrieved your datapad and set it on his lap at an angle you could both read from. “Remind me to thank them later. I’m glad you’re here with me.”

“So am I,” Wildfire hummed, rubbing soothing circles into your shoulder with his thumb. “Although...” He looked at you with a hopeful gleam in his eye. “Any chance you have some tea left for me? I know you’ve always got some when you’re in the mood for poetry.”

You couldn’t help the amused grin that spread across your face as you dig into the blankets on your other side and revealed a metal thermos, still warm to the touch. “I saved some for you, don’t worry.”

“You’re the best, love,” he sighed, leaning down to kiss your cheek before he reached across to snatch the thermos from you. “I’ll read to you after I’ve had my share.”

The young halfa chuckled softly at her exclamation. He'd been through a lot himself, and wherever she'd decided to vanish off to, he honestly doubted genuine disbelief would or could strike him at the tales she was undoubtedly about to tell him. Still, she was his unofficial little sister and he'd missed her, so the ghost was quick to swoop in and wrap her into a tight hug.

"I'm sure you'll tell me all about it. Come on, let's go home. I'm sure Jazz has some snacks lying around we can snatch." He chuckled, arm wrapped around her shoulders. Home sounded good, though part of him was still seriously considering working with Sam, Tucker and Jazz to build some sort of secret hideout where they could hide, plan and just be themselves without risking his parents busting their secret by accident.

Hey, maybe Dani could help too!

he chuckled as he looked at his clone. he was sure they had all melted by now, but Dani always was stubborn. much like the human she was modeled off. a shame he was dead now -- Danny might have enjoyed knowing at least someone from his family still lived and would have understood his condition. “ how surprising.... too bad you didn’t decide to come out of hiding sooner, Danielle. we could have really had fun destroying everything Vlad spent so long building up. have you come to join my side, little clone, or are you still trying to follow in Danny’s footsteps... be a hero in a world that will never accept you. not to mention the whole aspect of you being a clone -- they really will never accept you... “

“Ugh, what a day...” Ember, under her human alias Lizzy Mackay, had ended up working a double shift at the music store that day, filling in for a co-worker who’d called in sick on short notice. As such, she was completely exhausted and ready to hit the hay as soon as she got home. However, upon entering her apartment, she’d be met with an unexpected sight. “What the hell?”

There was a strange girl sleeping on her couch, no older than 12 from the look of it. How did she even get in? She didn’t have any right to be here, and yet... Ember couldn’t bring herself to wake her up. Letting out a sigh, she headed into her bedroom for a moment, returning with a clean blanket from the linen closet, which she’d carefully drape over the sleeping girl, taking care not to wake her.

“I guess I’ll figure out how to deal with this in the morning... I’m too tired for this shit...” With the stranger taken care of, Ember returned to her bedroom and locked the door, heading to bed herself.

Night, Night

 So far, Takumi had yet to see anything or anyone in this town. Maybe they ran, there was word of some sort of monster, but humans tended not to belief in those anymore. Not monsters and definitely not running when they could fight something...

 Then he heard a whiny and saw a pack of horses with swirls of gold in their dreamsand bodies ahead running around in practiced circles around a crowd of people in helmets behind a man that had a body made of stars and curling horns. He grabbed his enchanted mobile radio, “Nightmares, no sight of- Ah!”

 A green glob-man yanked it out of his ears and attempted to put a helmet on him before realizing Takumi was already wearing his own as well as armor . Takumi punched it in the face but others came closer.
