I'm disappointed to find out that there was a show accurate game based on the first Digimon Adventure series

but only on PSP AND only in Japan. I feel like we were robbed of this personally, I looked up gameplay and it looked like a lot of fun, it's an RPG like Final Fantasy or Dragon's Quest, the visuals look just like the anime even down to the exact same transformation animations. Also we get to see the Mega forms for the other main characters

which I never really got why they never appeared in the anime. I suppose we did at least get Patamon and Gatomon's Megas in the movie.

In any case, we need to reach out to Bandai Namco about re-releasing this game on modern consoles.

I think it’s also weird how you can only get holydramon from dna digivolution in dusk/dawn and not some branch in the tailmon line but whatever it somewhat works in my favor if I decided to go for holydramon if I ever got dusk

the reason this mission matters is because it gives Nokia a little spirit boost, and that actually lets Agumon and Gabumon Digivolve for the first time.

i feel as if this scene also implies a certain sort of asymmetry in the Adventure series. like, by this, the metric of Love is the most important piece of Human and Digimon relationships. does Sora, as the holder of the Crest of Love, have more capability to Digivolve Biyomon compared to the other Digidestined? or maybe resultant Digivolutions are stronger than they would normally be? like, are Garudamon and Pheonixmon actually a way more powerful Ultimate and Mega than it normally would be thanks to Sora having the Crest of Love?

i feel like i’d rather interpret that a Human has to show Spirit and connect with their Digimon partner such that they can Digivolve more readily, with Spirit being including stuff like Love, Courage, or Hope. of course, i’d need to learn enough JP to know exactly what was originally typed out at this moment.

First Capture of the start for the Extreme Blazing event. In which I got one of the four Megas. The only Megas avaliable are Pheonixmon, Vikemon, Rosemon and Rosemon (BM) Burst Mode. They will be captured as normal Unawakend up to strong +4 Awakend. In my first capture, I obtained this princess. A +1 Awakend Rosemon (BM). So today was a good day.

The angst....the hurt/comfort....it’s perfect!

Well, not really, only that one scene. 

Like the actual appearance of Hououmon was kind of a disapointment. I mean I LOVED how they made her look like this majestical and beautiful pheonix just disapointed on the rest of her appearance...like how short it was....and how there was no fights

But really, that’s fine, not all the time a Digimon will digivolve mid-fight so, I guess her appearence wa sokay...you know what, screw it, her appearance was actually done well. 

The build up towards it, the evolution sequence, well that was a disapointment like usual but the build up was done really well. But something I think would’ve of been better was them having hints or small scenes of Sora pushing all the responsibility off of Biyomon and doing all the work herself in later episodes, but of course they couldn’t really do that considering what happened in said later episodes...

My favourite part of this episode was when Biyomon got hurt and when Sora started pushing herself and Biyomon getting mad at her. I live for nescessary angst, and they did that here. And I know they had a lot more angst scenes in this series but this one really stuck to me. Maybe it was also the hurt/comfort, but I’m pretty sure they did that too...

I don’t really have much to say, but I enjoyed it. Could it be better? Yes, some scenes were kind of boring but I loved it, and they did their relationship good, and this series really should of have more moments like these

I know I said this before, but I really really love how she looks in this especially when she’s glowing and sparkling.
