While some viewed him as a savior, others called him a dictator. Today, he is regarded as a brilliant politician and a world leader who taught our nation to be "citizens of the world" and "members of a human community." He was born on Jan. 30, 1882, in Hyde Park, NY and was sometimes called the stamp-collecting president. Roosevelt began collecting stamps at the age of 8 and had credited the hobby with helping him learn geography, partial recovery from polio, and managing the stress of being Commander in Chief. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm13PR7OimB/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
