it's kinda upsetting to see millions of people protesting for solidarity with Ukraine without actually stating a clear demand. yes we should allow all refugees to come, yes we need to do something to stop the war. but right now Germany is just sending more weapons there. how the fuck is that supposed to stop the war? Putin won't be stopped by that, if anything this will only cause more deaths and suffering. are sanctions a good solution? kinda. Will the Russian people who have absolutely nothing to do with the war suffer from this because they'll be forced to deal with poverty? most definitely, but at least that's something that would also affect more wealthy people in power who might contribute to stopping the violence for selfish reasons. Maybe sanctions would also cause more people in Russia protesting against it, questioning phtins power and organising. I obviously don't know how to end this war, hell I'm just some teenage girl, but why don't more people question this? There were enough wars before that just proved my point...
