Reasons

Pim and Hobie share mutual feelings and interests even though they never talked about it they both knew it inside

The problem was why? Pim could write a whole essay or an endless list about why he likes Hobie but he couldn't think of a single reason why a guy like Hobie brown would like someone like him

Everytimes he asked all he got was something around "I don't know" or "I just do" so it's just made him even more confused like WHAT DO U MEAN U DON'T KNOW???

The thing is Pim has a very low self-esteem and always seeing himself as some kind of loser or failure all the time and that made him fail to see the good side of himself

So the reason why someone as cool as Hobie brown like a loser like Pimphat Pirakon is cuz of how he always act moody and annoyed but when the time comes he never failed to take care of everyone around him and he actually kinda nice if you're nice to him

He's also took a note of every little details about someone he cares about and remember it more than his own likeness

+ he's a complete difference person in the battle field and kinda badass when he fights and stuff

But Pim is also someone who doesn't care about himself and willing to sacrifice himself in a heartbeat if it's mean someone he cares about will survive so that's another thing Hobie was concerned about and tried to fix before he actually do it lol
