“Hraahh” Sinbad’s battle cry rings out as he continues sparring with the woman, she was one of the people that kept him on his toes when it came to physical combats so of course he made it a point to spar with her to get some training in. But there was something..off about her today and whenever he asked her about it and even remarks that her guard seemed more open than usual but she’d just use that to compliment him, speaking of how much stronger he’s gotten ever sce he began training with her exclusively. Smart move on her part, hit him in the ego and feed him a compliment, it was just enough to make him drop it in the moment.

However, as it so turned out he snuck around the palace, following her closely and securely only to find out that she’s been hiding an injury under that armor of hers. “Aha!! Just as I thought you ARE hurt and why did you not just come to me?!” Sinbad was one to cowl whenever his loved ones would hurt themselves and have the audacity to keep it a secret. How much of a beautiful world can he entrust them with if they won’t even take care of themselves first in order to enjoy it to its fullest?

“We’re going back to my room now. As it so happens both Pipirika and Yamraiha are at the palace today, no doubt they can help you with the healing. Now come on.” Both his arms crossed over his chest as serious eyes were aimed at her direction, making sure she would take the necessary steps to walk towards his chambers, the last thing he would give her is an opportunity to refuse his help. “Then you’re going to tell me how it happened in the first place.”

SnB OVA Differences 3

Alright! Right off the bat we’re getting differences with...RUKH FISH?!?!

I thought rukh were butterflies, the manga says birds and the ova say FISH!

On his way to Imuchakk Sinbad has a vision as he uses the sword. Seeing lands and people, including a revelation of his future 8 Generals

Lands which I’ve yet to see... Races who I’ve yet to meet... A tomorrow which I’ve yet to experience...

Dang, if they could have kept this in the same iteration with Reim’s Darius telling Sinbad stories of the world...it would just have made him able to go out at this point so thrilling! But I digress...

Big energy that Sin attacks and Baal swallows up...that seems a bit off from Magi reality, so we know that must be a part of Sinbad “dramatizing” the adventure stories he’s selling.

Next new scene is just shy of 15 minutes in, after Pipirika says they should hurry before father fills ”Sinbad up with booze!” it shows them approaching their dad with Sinbad not insight--resting because his threshold is low. 

He offers some of the special brew to Hina, who is hesitant and we don’t see if he accepts or not. {and imo he’s no less manly for abstaining.}

That’s about it, so next week I’ll conclude this series with OVAs 4 & 5!
