Sadly, it is hard to find a roleplay partner because all of the requests I have seen are something super specific fandom wise, or they request you to play a certain character and/or use a certain face claim. No, and no. I like using my own OCs and the faceclaims I want. It's fine to desire specifics but I just hate seeing requests that say they want a specific face claim. Like where is the fun in that for me? Forgive that rant. Below is a list of the genres I will do (a 💗 will be next to the genre or genres I am most interested in currently).

Fantasy (vampires, pirates, knights, etc) 💗

Sci fi (space, aliens, other species, etc)

Slice of life (I just recently got back into this) 💗

Western (have been craving some western action lately) 💗

If you message me, and we talk and plan a roleplay, let's thoroughly hash out ideas and OCs before we move to Discord and start the roleplay. I want us to have a basis to go into. It makes things easier before we agree to start anything, and also can help us with starting off. Also, showing OCs is a very big thing for me, because my OCs or faceclaims may not be everyone's cup of tea, and that is totally fine! We DON'T HAVE TO ROLEPLAY IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY OCS! So if we can hash all of that out in dms BEFORE starting a roleplay, it will help both of us in the long run with deciding to go further or not. I am not looking to waste anyone's time!

I loooooooove angst, and I adore love triangles. I enjoy making playlists, finding aesthetics, and gushing about our characters and ships OOC. I want the roleplay to consume my mind and have it be what I am thinking about while at work and so forth. I am not picky about response length. As long as it is like a paragraph or two, I am good. No one liners obviously. But sometimes there just isn't enough going on to progress the story with a book length response.

I’m going to create a blog and I need help

Basic Idea: A crew of pirates made up of my tumblr mutuals and fans

Idea in Detail: I have this idea for an intractable pirate adventure. People can interact and talk to (ask) the pirates and other characters and use “items” they receive along the way to progress the story!

People who are interested can become part of the crew and cast and help both write the story and interact with the askers

If I can orchestrate this properly I can start something grand!

I have no idea how to start this and I have no idea what should happen in the actual story but I’m planning to take a few ideas from ‘The Legends of Zelda, The Phantom Hourglass’ with a ghost ship and a crew mate being connected to the ghost ship in some way or maybe evil sea witches are trying to kill us and steal our souls or there are temples we have to visit in order to get bits of some sort of spell so we can go back home or something. I didn’t play the game but I read the books a long time ago and loved them

I also want an excuse to talk like a pirate. Fun fact- in online school we didn’t talk during lessons but we had student chat so we used that so we wouldn’t bother the teacher. For a whole year whenever I posted in chat I talked like a pirate and nobody stopped me

I love roleplaying and lately the lack of partners has been very depressing. I found one perfect partner that actually made me feel things, and she disappeared. I don't blame her because I know firsthand how life can be. I have scoured the deepest darkest corners of the internet, of roleplaying apps, of Discord, and I cannot find anything 😭 this is literally my last ditch effort to find roleplay partners. I don't want to give up what I love, but I can't roleplay alone.

Amino is a hopeless cause. I have tried to go on there and advertise even after leaving the site, but most people can't even type a paragraph or only want realistic/slice of life roleplays which frankly Im sick of.

I have found a pretty decent server on Discord where you can advertise for all sorts of 1x1 roleplays, but the candidates are starting to become few and far between. Most people hate romance or don't want to do any pairing other than MXM. Im sorry the majority of my characters are hetero, damn it 😭😭

I'm sorry for ranting but this is ridiculous. A lot of my roleplays contain NSFW themes like gore, violence, s*x, tragic back stories, angst, explicit scenes, and more. You can't advertise for shit like this on Amino because if you put "mature content" they flag your post. It's so stupid. I'm tired of people wanting platonic, sfw roleplays. How is that any fun? S*x isn't the main focus of my roleplays but it's the thrill of the slow burn romance and the build up that makes my heart pound and the sweat begin.

So all of this being said, I pinned a roleplay ad on my page, take a look if you want, read it THOROUGHLY and maybe we can plan something out. I don't ghost, Im great at communication and I'm an author in real life so you won't have to worry about lackluster responses unless Im sick or otherwise noted.

I know there is someone out there who feels the same way I do. I can feel it in my 27 year old bones. If you are looking for someone who literally thinks of the roleplay to get through their day at work, someone who sobs at the pain and sorrow our characters feel, someone who attributes entire PLAYLISTS to our roleplay, someone who can play and loves playing multiple characters of multiple races and genders, please please look no further. I am here!!!

What we need:

Captain: Tactician and main decision maker

Cabin boy: attends to the needs of other pirates

Rigger: Deals with docking and shoving off

Someone to be our heavyweight for moving large items

Treasurer: Deals with finances

A spy or two

The old prophet who speaks only in riddles and is 100% accurate if you can understand what he’s saying

Master gunner: In command of the guns and those who man them

Repair team

Quartermaster:  Supervise which men board a target vessels, lead attacks

Helmsman: Steer the ship and maintain course

Master-at-arms: Responsible for training the crew in hand to hand combat

Striker: Main task is to fish and cook

Deckhands: Anything they are assigned to do

I'm desperate for a good pirate roleplay right now. This is the time! I'm motivated, I'm highly into the genre, if anyone wants to roleplay pirates this is the time! The only requirements I have are below.

If you don't want to do pirates, I am perfectly okay with using my other OCs (Marik, Jack, Valcyn, and Sabin). They are all in fantasy settings but they are different and have very different lives.
