I’m sobbing! The teacher obviously couldn’t take money but she could make students help her grade papers and do little tasks for her? I never got my baby stolen so I don’t really know the full extent of it but all the teachers in the school got a memo saying to take any babies they saw unattended. And if your baby was stolen you had to write a massive essay about how you were a bad parent to your egg baby.

finally watching the haunting of hill house and damn. I love how we get in the story, from steve the most detached and yet the one who got all the money from the other's trauma (fuck u steven). Then shirley who had to shoulder a lot of emotional strain, being the first born girl, her view of death and her rigidity in a way. I feel like anything could break her because she shoulders so much and at the same time she does not have to. like im sorry she has not felt able to put down some of her burden and share. especially when Theodora (my bestie) is a trained psychologist. I love when the bootmaker has the worst shoes or whatever the saying is. Like she IS the middle. From her on, what happened can scarcely be explained any other way than supernatural.
