↳ @familylightfox asked: Light had needed a day to recover from the last ‘experience’ with the Freedom Fighters of their world. So he wasn’t too surprised when Gibbous had nudged his pants leg with her nose while he was sitting on the couch, but what quirked an eye was when she did so, then looked to the hero sitting next to him. When he stayed still, she puffed out her cheeks and shifted to bump her nose against Arrow’s leg instead. A little more insistent this time, nose wiggling and just staring up at the hedgehog. One more firm nose bump. “Are you feeling alright?” He had to ask. If she was being this persistent.

     {➹} – THE GENERAL CONSENSUS of the day seemed to be taking it easy. A common practice when Light and Gibbous came to visit those days because, even if they didn't say it willingly, the family could pick up on when their friends weren't in the greatest spirits. And frankly, they were happy to have the pair decompress there at the home rather than back with the ones undoubtedly causing that stress in the first place.

So it wasn't given a second thought as the pair settled in near the hedgehog, who was reading some magazine while his daughter seemed occupied with her markers and the latest cartoon on the television and his wife was sat on the chair nearby on her phone. Pretty typical for the small family,

So maybe it could be forgiven that none of them really noticed Gibbous' change of demeanor until about the second time she had nudged the hero, earning not just his attention but that of the singer's too. Neither of them knew what it was about, having chalked it up to restlessness until Light asked their question.

"Er, yes...? A bit confused, but 'm — " As honest as the hero's words were, they were cut short not only by a sudden, rapid beeping from his wrist but a look of surprise as well. The latter was the only reason he hadn't excused himself as he normally would, too taken aback to get up and move before his communicator flashed red and his own skin went pale in stark contrast. All before a familiar pain settled in his chest, and his breathing turned shallow.

Unfortunately, it was one more thing that was typical for the family. Mina had wasted no time getting to her husband's side, thankful that the couch was doing most of the supporting, and it took even less time for Lyra to abandon her show to turn towards her parents. It wasn't the first time she had seen this, but she was still far too young to understand what was happening to her father.

So the abrupt crying and her running over were equally as expected, and despite the acute pain he was in the hero still managed to scoop her up in an effort to calm her down. He couldn't say he was doing a terrific job, but it did give him something else to focus on while his partner turned to Light and Gibbous.

For a long moment Mina just stared between the pair, until her eyes rested on Gibbous. She didn't bother to hide her own surprise, though she made a point to keep her voice gentle. "Did...you know?"

{➹} – "YES THE WHOLE house. Why would we only do part of it? What do you think all these are for?" The hedgehog gave Light a look as he lifted the relatively long string of lights in his hand. It was just one part of a rather large pile of other lights and various decor. All of which was catered for the small family's house.

Overkill? Absolutely, but it was one tradition that Arrow was rather fond of despite all the work it took. And it took a lot.

From the open front door, Mina just shook her head as Lyra looked on in fascination. Exciting as it all seemed, she and the girls had business elsewhere. Namely inside, where it was warmer.

Giving Gibbous a gentle nudge, the mongoose nodded her head toward the living room. "C'mon, while they figure that out we can get started on the tree."

Thankfully, the one good thing was that the pup knew not to pull too hard when it came to the other toddler in the house and just wagged her tail in a play bow.

    {➹} – NEITHER ARROW NOR MINA had thought anything of taking a certain pup for a few days. Chaos knew they had the room, and while she was still a tad too young to use actual words, they knew that Lyra enjoyed Gibbous' company just as much. Perhaps more so given how long the two of them could babble nonsense at one another.

     Today, however, it seemed 'play' was on the schedule and the two adults, settled on the couch where they could watch the little ones, could only be amused at Gibbous' initiation. Lyra had only stared for a moment before getting the gist and trying to move her leg back. Maybe not the most efficient way to play the game but if the way the young hybrid laughed was any indication, she was having a good time as her legs kicked happily with each tug.

Ooo this sounds fun👀💕

First of all, I’m pretty convinced he’s a Gemini rising (8pm), which means he has a Scorpio Venus. His voice (2nd house) sounds more like Cancer (calming, rather comforting, not very high) than Sagittarius-like (high-pitched, loud, mood-maker) and he just gives me Gemini vibes haha He gives off a playful appearance more than an intense aura (though his glares send Hyunjin running, I think that’s more his inner Scorpio stellium coming through). If he’s a Gemini rising, his chart ruler would be in Scorpio, which could give him that more round face, and in the 6th house, which could give him a youthful appearance paired with those eyes🥰. Lastly, his rising’s decan would be Libra, which could also contribute to a rather round face than the typical Gemini rising’s rather slim appearance (+ Libra rules the butt lol and we all know Minho‘s shameless liking toward the members’ butts haha) He’s also pretty outgoing and chatty, which his mc in Aquarius and Gemini rising can also point at. I do want to point out that guessing any celebrity’s placements is like trying to guess their mc persona chart’s placements because their image is very controlled and what they do is extremely calculated/regulated.

I feel like he would be really flirty and straightforward because of his rising and Mercury as well as his Venus. His flirting style is versatile and adaptable to the person (Moon in Sagittarius in the 7th house, Gemini rising), and at first he’d try to keep it less intense, smile/smirk a little (his smile also contributes to my tendency to view him as a Gemini rising rather than a Scorpio rising😌).

When he’s gotten more comfortable around the other person and they seemingly are comfortable around him as well, he’d start letting his intense aura and Scorpio stellium come to shine as he’d enjoy making the other person feel flustered, though his Scorpio Venus suggests that he’d love for somebody to do that with him as well, seeing as his Sun-Venus conjunction doesn’t only indicate confidence, but also that he’s attracted to people who are similar to him.

His confession would be overall heartfelt, genuine, romantic and intense. His way with words (moon in 7th since he’s talking about his emotions here, Gemini rising, well aspected Mercury) would allow him to talk without stuttering too much or at all, though I can see him being nervous (his emotions are strong, and when he loves, he LOVES).

Once he finds himself in a relationship with somebody, he’d be pretty dedicated and loyal, which he’d expect from his partner as well. Other than Jeongin for instance, he wouldn’t be really big on personal space, instead he would be keen on skin ship and always want to touch his s/o’s butt 🤭.

His Venus lies in opposition to his Saturn in Taurus (no orb), which suggests feelings of insecurity and unworthiness which stems from criticism by authority figures and lack of affection (especially from a father or father-figure). Here, the planet of relays and restrictions can indicate a late recognition of that he deserves happiness instead of pity and love instead of loneliness (this aspect also indicates a feeling of unworthiness of financial success, so he may feel like he doesn’t deserve his place as an idol). Loving himself can thereby be a challenging road that he for a long time didn’t even know he had to take. This can result in insecurities being projected onto the other person or a detachment from his s/o as he is scared to show them all of him out of fear of rejection or not being accepted. Just like with all Saturn aspects, with hard work and age comes a great deal of contentment and what he’s understood he deserves (money and love in regards to Venus and Saturn).

Meanwhile, Neptune is in a square with Venus, (1° orb) which points out a deception and inability to draw a clear line between judgement and his gut feeling. In this case, he can take things his s/o says very personally, though he might act as if nothing’s wrong (Scorpio stellium,...). People with this aspect typically dream to escape reality as well as are languid and messy (missing/coming late to dates although he’s strongly dedicated to the relationship, he may just forget or feel secretly hurt about something that wasn’t really offensive but he made out to be). This sensitivity toward what others say feeds into the Saturn-Venus aspect and a feeling of inadequacy and dishonorability. Overall, his Venus (love style, behavior in relationships, desires, attraction) is badly aspected in his chart, though his s/o and their personality is a key-point to look at in any relationship.

As a boyfriend in general, Minho may be extremely emotionally invested, possessive, devoted and sharing. Once he’s with someone, he gives himself to that person. Additionally, his Venus in the 5th along with his Sun in the 5th and conjunct his Venus suggest a very present and, again, dedicated lover who loves with his whole heart and all he’s got (meanwhile he makes an effort to look especially detached and funny/playful in public or in front of cameras, which, among other placements, his mc in Aquarius hints at). Lastly he may be excellent at boosting his partner’s confidence, yet may also need validation back. (Can I just say that his Sun and Venus in the 5th make his chart the one of a born performer, which obviously shows + his love for art shows here as well🤓😊.)

His Scorpio Venus in the 5th makes me think of spontaneous, grand-gesture dates that take place where he’s granted privacy with his s/o and everything’s only about the two. He may wants to move around, like go to an abandoned park where the grass is a little too high and play games/teach them a dance before they watch the stars when the night comes🥺💫. I can see him being very romantic and bold, so he may just sneak kisses here and there (5th house suggests spontaneity and the thrill of surprises). ↳ @familylightfox asked: Gibbous loved the fact that the weather was getting warmer. It meant they could go outside to play for short bursts. Unfortunately Light had already figured out that the toddler also loved to get her paws caked in mud and would tread it inside if no one stopped her at the door...

{➹} – GIVEN WHERE THEY LIVED, the one downside to the weather warming up and the snow melting was indeed that the couple’s backyard, and the space beyond it even more so, had a habit of turning into a bit of a giant mud puddle. One that everyone in the house except Lyra liked to avoid, and by that point the couple had given up on trying to stop her from making a beeline for it when they opened the backdoor.

At least she wasn't alone, and admittedly the sight of the two toddlers having a blast was well worth the cleanup. But that wasn't going to stop Mina from aiming a look at her husband when said paws managed to get past the door, leaving perfectly shaped prints on their hardwood.

"Oh man, if only we still had our robot mop." She was being completely sarcastic and her voice said as much but she still laughed as the hedgehog huffed in the middle of scooping their daughter up before she could turn the kitchen into another mud pit. If Light chose to do the same, he would just have to follow the hero to the bathroom.

But not before Arrow gave his wife a look in turn. A tad guilty? Maybe.

"I told you I would buy you a new one if you wanted it."

↳ @familylightfox asked: There had been one thing that Light had been working on in secret. And only when the little ones spent time keeping him company. It was something he had expected to be given a positive response, but one never really knew, but he also knew that Lyra was smart for her age.

So he’d taken time out of his work to teach her a way she could communicate with Gibbous. Without either of them having to learn to speak it. The toddler beside him was happy to go along. Hopefully Arrow wouldn’t be too surprised by the baby sign language.

     {➹} – THE COUPLE HADN'T put too much merit into whether or not their daughter exceeded certain cognitive stages or not, namely because they had a tendency to gush about her in just about every way since, to them, she was perfect. But, deep down, they knew well there was something in her that wasn't typical for children her age. Where it had come from neither hedgehog nor mongoose knew, but they also weren't going to question it too much.

As long as Lyra was happy, that's all that mattered.

Which may have been why her parents had noticed a certain silence falling over her and Gibbous' interactions. Again, something they hadn't thought much of until really watching the pair and the way their hands seemed to move. Given that he actually knew sign language it was more obvious to the hero than his partner but he was half convinced he was imagining it. Sort of.

"Y'know they say children use gestures t' talk but this seems...extensive," he commented, watching the pair for a few seconds more before they seemed to giggle suddenly and run off to grab the brightly colored ball they favored. With a raised brow, a look was given to Light. "Seems like someone's been playing teacher."

↳ @familylightfox asked: “Mini…” As the toddler made her way over and pawed at the singer’s ankle, there was a look in her eyes that might not have made too much sense. “Gibbie ball… bye bye.” She was pointing to a pile of colorful tinsel, similar in color to the toy in question. It had rolled in the front and almost blended in. Almost. “Mini help?”

{➹} – IT DIDN'T TAKE MUCH more than that to tear the mongoose away from her notepad and pen or for her to spin around in her chair, the look on her face confused when she saw Gibbous' own expression. More so when the toddler spoke and pointed to the pile of shiny decorations. The family was still in the process of cleaning up after the holidays.

She looked from it, to the ball and back to Gibbous. At first sure it was some sort of game, or that the other had a sudden aversion to tinsel, but that look in the toddler's eyes said otherwise. It was concerning, she would admit, but she still strolled over to the toy in question.

"It's right here," she picked it up, her tone nothing but gentle as she handed it back to the girl. There a small silence before she had to asked, "could you really not see it...?"

↳ @familylightfox asked: When Gibbous came over to Mina that afternoon, she was carrying a box of crayons by the lid with her teeth. It was set down next to the singer's leg that was then gently pawed at. "Mini... Wha cull-er dat?" She pointed to where Light was sitting with his summoned guitar and talking with the hero. "Gibbie make pic-ture."

{➹} – THE MONGOOSE HAD been brushing Wentle when Gibbous came over, or rather she was supervising her daughter as Lyra went between half brushing the feline to looking at Light and her father with child-like anticipation. She would have dropped the brush the moment the two started playing anything, but like her mother a moment later her attention was drawn to Gibbous instead.

Mina smiled down at the toddler, and knelt down to start picking out certain colors from the box. Specifically ones that would let Gibbous draw an accurate picture of Light and his signature instrument, though she doubted the former soldier really cared about the colors. It was the thought that counted more than anything.

"Here we can pick out the colors you'll need," she said, and with each crayon that came out of the box she was sure to explain what it was and where it was on her father. Though she had to wonder if there was a way she could make this all easier for the girl. Maybe she could pick Kintobor's brain later...

↳ @familylightfox asked: Light still had a lot on his plate, but that wasn’t going to stop him from sending a video of Gibbous using her hands to scribble crayon all over a piece of paper. There didn’t seem to be too much method to her madness till he held it up. Blues, yellows, purples, pinks, and a few browns and reds. “Us!” Look at her tail wagging as she pointed to each color. “Arrrooorrroooo, Mini, Lee-rah, dah, Gibbie!”

   {➹} – IT WAS THE PERFECT thing for the family to wake up to, or rather eat breakfast to the following morning with the video displayed for them all to see. Method or not, the adults recognized the determination in Gibbous' movements, not so unlike their own daughter when the fancy took her, and while the end result was mostly the same it didn't stop them all from smiling.

Frankly Gibbous' mostly howl when it came to his name and Mina’s not-so-nickname always amused the hero.

Lyra even went the extra mile and clapping her hands in a 'job well done', which was neatly captured by Mina to send back to their friends. But they could do a little more than that, and soon Arrow turned to his daughter with a grin.

"What do you think, Half Pint. Want t' draw something for them t' spruce up their new place?"

She only understood a few words, but it was enough for a resounding cheer.

↳ @familylightfox asked: Gibbous was oh so happy to be playing in the water with the small family. Despite needing a little extra help to stay afloat at times, she was having a blast paddling around until it was time for a little rest on the shore. Back to her dah she ran, stopping just short and shaking herself partially dry. Thankfully just as Light tossed the towel over her and wrangled her in to handle the rest. Her high pitched laughter continued, even wrapped up like a burrito. "Should I take a wild guess that it was Mina who handled bath time while you were watching her for me?"

     {➹} – PER USUAL, ARROW was happy to watch from the shore under the shade of the not-so-little umbrella they had lugged down to the cove. Just as Mina and Lyra, currently settled in a pink swim ring, were more than happy to swim and splash with Gibbous as they saw fit. It was the perfect way to beat the heat, at least for those who enjoyed the water. Frankly the hero was fine where he was, as always.

But he still chuckled at the exchange between their two friends, just barely biting down some comment about how Light had really stepped into his new role. Instead, he snorted. It wasn't such a wild guess. "That obvious, huh?"

"I enjoyed it," Mina chimed in just as she and Lyra came back to the shore not long after Gibbous, a not so subtle but playful glare aimed at her partner. "It's one thing I could actually do without someone beating me to it."

The hedgehog only grinned, a knowing look. "Hey, when you can't sleep and have nothing else t' do the next best thing is housework and tending t' other things. Makes me feel useful."

To that the mongoose only gave him a light punch on the arm, rolling her eyes before following Light's lead in toweling off Lyra, who squirmed considerably more than Gibbous. The little one was far too eager to play with her friend in the sand.

  {➹} – THIS WASN'T IDEAL. She had only stepped out to pick up something from the post office, and hadn't even blinked when Lyra and Gibbous asked (or begged) to come along. A simple trip, no more than half an hour at most. Apparently that was just enough time for a torrential downpour to start, which would have been fine...

If booming thunder and wind hadn't followed.

What had been a happy little trip had turned into just the opposite as the infant, still terrified of storms at her age, had taken to clinging to her mother and crying her eyes out. Which seemed to have a less than pleasant effect on Gibbous by extension. Kids...

"It's alright, we just have to wait for it to pass." She was sure to keep her own voice calm, easy enough considering she liked storms but she knew they were an unknown fright for those too young to understand what was happening. Her daughter being one of them, and even the mongoose's reassuring words didn't seem to be working.

Her only idea to calm them down? Do what she did best.

↳ @familylightfox asked: Big stretch, even bigger flop. The weather was too hot for the toddler to move from the cool hardwood floors. Even Light was in a tank top and shorts. It was so much different being out in the world and not stuck in a room with controlled temperatures. “I never would have thought that weather could be this extreme at times…”

     {➹} – UNLIKE THEIR TWO, far more fluffy, visitors the small family of three was rather comfortable in the warmer temperatures that the week had brought. Something they could chalk up to their species and pure acclimation. The heat hadn't seemed to slow the couple, or even their daughter, down in the slightest but they had noted Light and Gibbous' less-than-pleased moods and made sure to adjust the air conditioning just a little for their sakes.

And, just in case, Lyra had brought over one of her frozen teething toys to place on Gibbous, like an ice pack. Her parents could only hope she didn't have plans to keep using it after the fact...

They would keep an eye on her, but in the meantime, Arrow let out a chuckle. "If you think this is bad you wouldn't survive long in Sandopolis. There's nothing but sand and....hot there."

The look on Mina's face confirmed that, but at least she offered more of a solution to the problem. "Maybe to cool off we can go to the beach later? When the sun's a little lower and there's shade in the cove."

     {➹} – THE COUPLE KNEW this was scary. It was a new world, full of new faces and the circumstance was frightening in and of itself. Light had business to attend to, business that he couldn’t involve Gibbous in for fear of her safety. And that was where Arrow and his partner had come in. True to their word they had no trouble filling in as temporary guardians, had even looked forward to it, but they knew getting Gibbous to settle down may prove to be the hardest part of all this. Luckily, as they had recently found out, they were good with children. 

     “Everything will be alright,” Arrow would assure, smiling at the toddler before following her what he took as nervous gaze to Mina. Someone the girl didn’t know well, so he understood the apprehension and flashed a wink towards the little one as he motioned to his partner. “This is Mina, I know she’s a little scary looking but she doesn’t bite, I promise.”

      Fortunately, the joke got a laugh out of the mongoose, though she still elbowed him playfully before turning a friendly smile to their guest as she knelt down besides the pair, joining the hero. If anyone could have matched the hedgehog in amiability it was his wife. She always had a little more of an edge to her, but that softened considerably around ones as young as the toddler.

     “Sonic’s right, we’ll take good care of you. And I think I know someone who would love to meet you inside. Once she wakes up from her nap.” She had no doubt their daughter and Gibbous would get along to some degree, even if they were a little apart in age. Nonetheless the singer’s smile was warm as she carefully held out her hand towards the toddler. “Think you can give us a chance for a few days?”

She waved to the small green light on the laptop and shifted so the family could see Light snoring on the bed before wagging her tail. "Dah sleepy. Gibbie no sleepy." It might have been obvious that she was looking for company without waking the former soldier. But she also had a question. Or maybe it was more of a statement. "𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕝𝕠𝕠𝕜𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕚𝕤 𝕒𝕟 𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕝𝕖."

     {➹} – THE CALL HAD been started just in time to see Lyra off to bed, though the moment it was Gibbous who popped up on the screen her parents had a feeling sleep wasn't going to be coming so easily that night. Lyra's excited laughter as she bounced on her bed only further cemented that fact, but the hero's communicator was still positioned so the whole family was in the frame properly.

So maybe it was best Light was asleep so he didn't see the way the adults snickered at the sight of him, or even the way Lyra hid her mouth behind her hands in the parody of a laugh. Though both the girl and mongoose couldn't understand what Gibbous said next Arrow did and he gave an understanding look, with just a hint of annoyance behind it.

"𝕎𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕟'𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕓𝕖 𝕨𝕚𝕟𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕤. 𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕕𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕗𝕒𝕔𝕖."

A wink was given before the hero found himself suddenly being used as an impromptu springboard by his daughter, much to his surprise and his wife's amusement. All so the girl could, apparently, bring back one of her books in one hand and make herself comfortable between her parents while pointing at the holoprojection with the other.

"Re'd book! Me! Gib!"

The adults had understood her loud and clear, and Mina had already grabbed a blanket to bring around them while the hero took up the brightly colored book and raised a brow at Gibbous. "Up for a story?"
