I figured making different documents for different scenes makes it easier for me? Idk why. Every scene carries its own charm and atmosphere that I create in that document if that makes sense and so I can be consumed by that scene and "aesthetic" while also not having to look at the document like oh my god this is only scene 4/10 or something but more like: this is one scene, it's gonna be the length it wants to be.

I'm currently at 2k words in my newest draft of the Changbin fic and I think I've finally established a plot structure, pattern and diction I like. I'm still working on how to show the characters' traits but I think this time I kinda got the hang of it because I've been working with these characters for so long!

So, a little info about the fic/synopsis:

Flames reduced Changbin's house into ashes, and the first one to offer shelter to the Seo family is Mariana's mother. But what if the two families are too dysfunctional each on their own to shoulder the burden of the other? What happens when Changbin becomes a reminder to Mariana, a reflection of her past? Will she finally stop running from herself?

- a tale of a young girl desperately searching to fill her void when all she has to do is look within (a duet yet to be fully written by the overly perfectionistic and self-critical @reverielix )

loves relationships in general and appreciates paternships. so the whole thing about operating as a team, one that brings out the best of em, is absolutely his thing. he really searches for how to improve himself by looking whats happening around him making living with others a source of joy. he’s super super fair (kinda diplomatic),  weight things out, focus on what rights and wrongs and even disregarding his emotions when doing so, always sees both sides and it’s extremely understing. xpert at finding a workable way. people can sense his innate fairness, and this leads them to win the trust of pretty much everyone. after a few months of studing his birth chart i really do think that he would probably be involved in teaching if he wasn’t in the spotlight, so the image that comes to my mind when i think about this is that he would be one of those teachers who everyone likes cause he actually cares about his students and try his best to make them grow, this applies to home and relationships as well. boy just wants to be surrounded by healthy love. super duper easy going. he may struggle with decisions sometimes, as he’s a bit hesitant to follow trough with his plans due to past experiences and this can cause a little bit of stress around the living mechanics. overall a great person to live with 10/10.

even tho he tries to act cool and under control this man right here play chess in his head all day, meaning that he measures the outcome of pretty much everything. when he acts he's aware of the consequences. always. don't take that as he not being sincere cause he feels A LOT. there's so much passion inside his heart but there's also a fear of showing that. imagine just how much love he has to let someone close enough to live with him, it kinda answers everything you want to know about what would it be to share something with him. it can take years to get his trust, he wants to know you better than you know youself but if you managed to do it then he's all yours. he doesn't need words to understand someone, he has tons of insights into psychological extremes and is hyper aware of what is not being said, so it's almost impossible to trick him or hide something from him. sees everything, knows everything. so so so sensitive, emotional and loyal, it's insane. those tits are that big cause he has a immensely loving heart to carry. he may need more privacy than others would and finds it better to keep his true feelings to himself instead of letting everybody know exactly what he's experiencing (he just wants to protect himself). tries his best to understand people's motives and what drives them. easily pinpoints what you, and others, really want or need in a situation. could have been a psycologist, it's natural for him to be honest with emotions. but remember to be careful cause he's moody.

changbin ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

seeks emotional and communicative people who will understand and work with his mood swings. wants to be around people who lets him take care of them, cause he's nurturing and devoted so nothing fits him better to be around people who who will follow his lead without questioning it. he not only wants to nurture his friends, family and partner but also the world itself, he has one of the most emotional placements and that’s why he wants to understand the true nature of humans, their motivations, why they do things, etc. he won’t judge anyone and he will help lots of people. expect him to be very sensitive and affectionate. he wants to take care of you, to ensure your wellbeing and happiness but he expects the same treatment from you as well. living with his cute ass is like living in a truly rose house, the best husband and most caring father right here ladies and getlenmen. no one's ever more important than his mother so if you want to know how he will behave in a relationship, ask him about his mother, or how he perceives her (but as future partner you will receive all his attention, don't worry about it). overprotective of the living space. wanna see this dude angry? invite someone to the house without talking to him beforehand or someone he doesn't like. his home is his sacred place. soooooo moody so please be patient with him. makes sure the people he lives with is protected and good.

hyunjin ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

he's the happiest when at home in his own skin, enjoys things like solitary walks to clear the mind, and time spent writing his journal. being home for him is way to make his mind, body and spirit end up feeling refreshed. be aware you have to create a living space where he's allowed to do that. so nurturing and even self-sacrifacing. the one that makes sure that everyone has what they need and that everything is okay. he's naturally hard on himself so it would be amazing if you are able to help him easy this aspect of him by reasuring him of how good they're doing, be there to give to him as much as he gives to you and it may be tricky cause his not super open to that. if criticizes you it's out of love, i promise. he wants you to be your better self but this can feel like he's picking you apart (hiii pre-debut jisungie). strives for perfection. virgin energy is all about being pure, so the perfection around him is also a big thing for him and this can be stresseful. he's a little easy to manipulate or taken advantage by other cause he's big on being of service. loves people with practical insights and logical thinking over those whose minds are by nature chaotic. overall just protect this baby and be aware that he loves you deeply and just the best for you, so don't be hard on him.

han ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

living with him is dreamy. might perceive things in a rose-colored glasses kinda of way., so he's super (sometimes overly) optimistic and that being said he may be disappointed a lot within the living spaces and people in general, sometimes feeling like a victim. loves to serve and make you feel good, wants to do nice (maybe romantic ?) things for you. a homebody. he just wants to be cuddled up on the couch, on the bed, on the floor, everywhere, just enjoying yourselves and whatever cute-fantasy-like show (probably an anime about witches or some) you guys are watching. you get home and instantly scapes reality. jisung and you, together, inside his little own world. he's sensitive so he needs the escapism side of being at home. he knows it's all about creating what he needs but you have to flexible with him and kinda just go with the flow. the feelings of others and his feelings are the same for him, he's like a psychic sponge and probably struggles to separate all these emotions. gift for empathy. easily senses people's emotional highs and lows. has to be careful with who he chooses to be his company cause it can take a huge toll on him emotionally if they're not the one's that won't burden him, so if aware of this it may be a little difficult to get close to him. he wants the compassionate, romantic and idealistic aspects of life SO LET HIM HAVE IT ( T_T)＼(^-^ )

felix ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

the twins are back at it again, there isn't that much of a difference of what would it be to live with him from what it would be like to live with jisung. except that with felix there is a line way more defined between the reality he creats and the reality others experience as well, so the thing about having a little worlf for himself is way more private and personal. still means that you have to be careful with him since he may put really high expectations around those who are his friends/family, cause he's a optimistic person and just wants people to be as nice as possible. loves doing the most cute, romantic, nice, loving and caring things. just wants to show love and appreciate people. do you guys remember when felix bought a cake to jisung to celebrate one of those "tests" they had to do during trainee days? or when he bought seungmin a "candle event" cause it was minnie's birthday? you do, right? it would be such a commom thing if you lived with lilx. so you may also remember when he asked for a gift (to han, if i'm not mistaken) but then backed away and said he wanted a letter of the member the most? yep. homebody and cuddle boy. he worries so much about how others may feel it can be burdening for him to deal with this and all the things he has in his own mind, since he has a whole another world inside his brain as well. just give him the idealistic and romantic part of life as much as he gives it to you.

seungmin ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

living with him would be a whole lot of fun (if you're communicative cause he needs constant stimulattion). the type of roomate to talk to you about anything and evereything. 3AM conversations about deep stuff? he's in. 3AM conversations about non-sense stuff? he's also in. the most likely to be connected to everyone if living in a house with multiple people like a bee going to every single flower he sees. he's CURIOUS. to gossip with him would be heaven cause he KNOWS. he's so patient and skilled enough to be friends with everyone, if he wants to. the thing with him is that due to other placements it's not that easy to actually get close to him, he's a private person and focus on the inside and to him personal relationships can make him feel a little trapped but if he's comfortable with you, then there's no end to how friedly and talktive he is. he wants to feel secure and well liked, specially in his home. he's prone to frequent mood shifts, so you may struggle to understand how he feels about you. even if it is about feeling he's still using his mind, super rational. boi is street smart and can handle pretty much everything. he sees people and the world as interesting topics to learn about. living with him would require things to not be boring. issues may arise due to him being a little cynical but he's good with his words so it wouldn't last long.

i.n ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

the father and son bond between him and changbin it's real cause they have the same placement so therefore, in theory, it would be the same thing as to what it would be like to live with binnie so if you didn't read the one about him you definitily should. skz has two of the most loving, emotional and caring people in the whole world. what i feel like adding it's that jeongin is way more closed off and fear showing what he feels freely due to his others placements. so have patience with this litte one! <3

The ancient clock hanging above the Coca-Cola coolers ticked slowly throughout the convenience store as Mia Lee mopped the tiled floors for the third time that night.

It was nearing midnight and for the last two and half hours there have been absolutely no signs of human life whatsoever - not like Mia was going to complain, less work for her during the graveyard-shift.

Her black converse squeaked on the wet floor as she shoved the mop back into the bucket and left it in the corner of the room. With a bored sigh, Mia walked across the shop before reclaiming her seat behind the front counter on a creaky wooden stool.

On the small TV suspended on the wall, a re-run of an old k-drama played; the two leads were having a snow-ball fight, as large iridescent flakes of snow fell from the sky. Their smiles were practically plastered onto their faces, and love was lingering in their eyes. The scene itself seemed to be absolutely perfect.

Mia would have immediately swooned if she were that kind of person, but she wasn’t - amidst her inumerable attempts. Sometimes she tried to imagine herself blushing at the words of a cute boy or melting into a pile of goop at one’s smile as they left a chaste brush of their hand on hers, but all she felt was pure awkwardness deep in her bones - as if she were destined not to feel love, or at least a kind of ‘stereotypical love’.

Forcing yourself to write on a project that you actually want to achieve something with is not a good approach, I wanted to say, but in the terms that you described it, I see how this advice could be used well.

Starting a new document and just writing anything that comes to mind sounds like a really good way to kick-start creative flow, I totally agree on that. But forcing yourself to write on your story might not be the best way to achieve content you'll be happy with at the end and will just make you lose motivation because you associate writing on this story with having to drag yourself.
