Simpler Times | AyaShin |Past
“SHIN YOO” The bending instructor shouted across the yard. “IF YOU HAVE TIME TO FLIRT WITH THE FIRST PRINCESS, YOU HAVE TIME TO TRAIN!”
Shin cowered slightly at the instructor’s booming voice, but his expression was of mischief rather than fear. Grabbing onto Ayaka’s wrist, he pulled her and made their attempt at escape.
Hiding under a set of majestic stairs, the two teenagers crouched low as the thunderous steps of the instructor rumbled above them. A silent laugh was shared between them, and Shin reached into his sleeve to pull out a delicate flower.
There was a blush to his cheek, and Shin could barely mumble his words. “I saw this flower andthoughtitwouldlookprettyonyou.” Following after, he tucked the flower into her hair, just above her ear. “They said this flower meant worth beyond beauty, it’s called A-Mary-List or something like that.”
He looked away, heart pounding in his chest. His palms were sweaty, his knees weak and his arms were heavy. However, Shin had made a promise to himself.
“P-Princess Ayaka.”Shin stammered, him the prodigy of the Clan of Yoo stammering. “I... I really like you.” He confessed, face turning beet red, as sweat seems to be rolling down his face.
