Even though Jonah was originally from Toys R Us (via Google & his tag), I found him in 2018 at my local flea market! He was a great find, and the guy sold him to me for a mere $10! He also came with a much smaller monkey friend (who was donated soon after) and a plush banana accessory!

I came across Jonah at a point in my life where I was involuntarily regressed most of the time, and I have found great comfort in him over the years. He was with me through my most recent hospitalization, and I cannot sleep as comfortably without him. Though I don’t regress nearly as much as I used to, he has still become a staple in my adult life, and a huge hand in helping me down from my emotional highs and lows.

Jonah also has visible red, messy stitching above his left eyebrow and down his back—from a previous piercing removal and 3 separate re-stuffings. He is very worn and has obvious stains on his tan fur from years of love and stimming. I plan to keep him for the rest of my lifetime and hope to pass him on to my future children one day.

Right out of the box vs. after a mini spa day!

The name he has chosen for himself is Bruiser, and he is absolutely lovely and so, so affectionate

He was wiped down/disinfected, brushed, given a little bit of new stuffing, and I repositioned his back legs, ears, and eyelids

His tentative pack role is similar to Butterscotch's in that he is there for comfort first and foremost, though I think that he won't leave my house very much as he is most protective of me while I am within its walls
