Torchic is my favorite PMD Explorers partner for one reason and one reason only.

Sereno (torchic/hero) and Oceano (treecko/partner) find Grovyle staring at the distant sunrise. They've always seen only focus, strenght and endurance from him - but now there's a glint of sadness in his eyes.

They sit by his side. Talk a little. And after a while, end up singing to him the Team Rainstorm!'s Theme Song (still a work in progress).

Hearing the off-key cheerful chant, Grovyle notices how that torchic is still his same old Sereno... only now, she's allowed to be happier.

Good thing she has such a good new partner to share that happiness with.

ok. a little more basic info on my hc pmd heroes....so i dont have to write this shit out on their refs

rt: human turned bulbasaur named violet. gardevoir chose her bc she reminded her a lot of herself.....violet has two partners, a totodile and a torchic.

exp: human->chimchar named orian, which apparently means sun, sunrise, dawn and or gold?? shit like that ig. anyways she is very similar to canon pmd2 hero but a little more impish(like the chimchar quiz result). she has a piplup partner.....orian represents the sun and piplups the ocean and bubbles drifting thru the air and and

gti: human->tepig probably named something that means "hope" i dunno....still figuring this one out..i really want their partner to be a zorua fsr? they would still be pretty much the same as canon gti partner but....now they can be tricksy little fox if they so wish..

psmd: human->eevee, had a hand in creating mewtwo in a past life? partners a froakie bc of. bubbles and mew???...ok thats all i got for now...

chatot, corviknight, porygon (2/z?), breloom, skarmory, and ..if i can get silly i will hold a deoxys.

ive grown very fond of froakie due to [DATA EXPUNGED] and i also like the treecko line bc lizard. and pmd2. torchic is also very reliable in my lockes, i almost always pick it in the fangames that let you choose any starter

i wish i could go back to when i first played pmd2 exploreres of sky i went in completely blind and. my god. the excitement. the chills. i still get so happy with the lapras surfing scene. how many times the darkrai cresselia fight i had to do bc i struggled so hard. i think i about . if not 80-90% completed the entire game. i was obssessed. delighted when i first took the personality quiz and got an eevee (record says torchic now lol) and chose riolu as my partner because i recently watched the pokemon anime movie (literally the best one). i loved playing that game for the first time. nothing will ever compare to that time. game that changes the course of your life forever.
