Yes, I want to die, but all I have been able to do is kill, again and again, so I hope to plant myself, dirt hands into dirt making dirt body a succulent, something manageable, but needing management.

Quote
I forget to water myself and my plants suffer, I forget to tend to my roots and I displace, I am dirty but am not kept for, not sprawled after. When there is direct light you will not find me, though I need it. Plant me is a better way of saying I want to be buried and remembered for it. Bury me is a way of saying end me, make this final, watch as I create myself again every year, something that blooms over and over again.

Aeon Ginsburg, “Poem in Which I Transition into a Succulent”
These are the hands of something ungreen.
Yes, I want to die, but all I have been able
to do is kill, again and again, so I hope to plant myself,
dirt hands into dirt making dirt body a succulent,
something manageable, but needing management.
I forget to water myself and my plants suffer,
I forget to tend to my roots and I displace,
I am dirty but am not kept for, not sprawled after.
When there is direct light you will not find me,
though I need it. Plant me is a better way of saying
I want to be buried and remembered for it.
Bury me is a way of saying end me, make this final,
watch as I create myself again every year, something
that blooms over and over again. No one asks
a perennial when they will stop themselves,
but no one knows when I will be happy with where I grow
so I must be dying or sinning but what is the difference.
Poetry was a mistake, but if you mistake enough
it becomes a habit or an intention. Mistake me into a girl
enough and I will become myself green, something with cells
rooting out of me, something that will last well after
your voice leaves you, well after my voice dissipates into the sun.

My Room
For some, their comfort zone might be among the shelves of a library. For some, it might be in the arms of their partner, or in their parent’s room, or at a club, or in the middle of a forest.
For me, it’s in my room. My room is both my comfort zone and my safe space. It is a space where the walls expand and contract to fit my thoughts. It is a space where the vibration of my four speakers vibrate in my chest (and probably annoy the neighbors). It is a space where the terror and unknowns of the outside world can’t reach me. It is a space where mementos and letters dating back to 2010 remind me of my connection to the world. It is a space where books seem to replace carpet and violin concertos & scales replace air.
Part of my ASD is having transition issues, and my safe space during these transitions is under my glow-in-the-dark stars and tapestry, amongst my art, infinite salt lamps, and BBC nature documentaries, and wrapped in my five, sometimes seven, blankets (I have four backup blankets in my closet at all times), breathing in the air my ten+ succulents and aloe plants have transformed. My room is one place where no transition ever occurs besides adding constellations here and there, or adding a new poster/art work, or adding a new memento, etc., which is why I find so much comfort in it I’ve assumed.
The weirdest thing about moving I’ve found is leaving your room, even if you know you’re getting another room at the new place. Whoever moves into your old room will never know what happened there (which sounds like a killing happened or something). They will never know the nights spent crying over dumb boys, or the nights you stayed up til 4 AM writing poems/narratives you don’t even remember or have anymore, or the nights you stayed up til 2 AM talking to people you no longer talk to, or the slumber parties that happened there, or the nights you spent recording videos of you dabbing to various Twenty One Pilots songs during your freshman year, or the mornings you did 50 sit-ups for a week straight hoping to get abs, but eventually gave up after they didn’t come in a week.
Your room is so much more than just another room, at least for me. It’s a space where you’ve transformed, created a bubble of identity, and de-stress or break down barriers and stereotypes after a long day. Although most importantly, it’s a space where you burrito yourself in many blankets.

Environmental Responsibility
Hey, today we’re going to talk about something very jmportant and it’s...
! Environmental Responsibility¡
So for this blog we need to take important things like what we need to do
¿What we need to do?
this:  1-3 articles about environmental responsibility.
2-Pictures, materials and steps about  how to create a terrarium.
3-Poem – English and Spanish
4-Creates a video in Movie Maker answering the following question: Why is it important to save the planet? Include your voice recording answering the question in English –  2 minutes.
so let’s get started!
1-3 articles about environmental responsibility.
1. “ Animal welfare – Key to sustainability of the poultry industry “
Anne-Marie Neeteson leads Aviagen webinar on Sustainable Development and Industry Responsibility for Safe Food Supply Globally
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aviagen continues supporting  customers with  series of informative webinars. A recent webinar focused exclusively on strengthening bird welfare. Entitled "Animal Welfare: Current and Future Prospects," the online meeting was led by Anne-Marie Neeteson, Global Vice President of Welfare and Compliance at Aviagen® Group.
2.  We need to respect the environment, we need to make the right use of the resources and preventing the pollution from the different processes involved in the industrial operations. ... Also we need to promote the sustainable use of raw materials and natural resources.
3.   Green swans: Why climate change is unlike any other financial risk
“We need to think about how the economy is currently adapting and how it will adapt to both the changing trends in the climate and the transition required to contain climate change. Both the physical impact of climate change and the transition are likely to have major economic effects ”. - Guy Debelle, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, March 2019 Before delving into the implications of climate change as the new form of the 'black swan' event, we must reflect on the complex channels through which climate-related financial risks can be identified. What is clear is that predicting the timing and scale of these risks is a great challenge. The Bank of England, in its 2017 Response to Climate Change, addresses the now well understood categories of climate-related financial risks: transition and physical.
2- Pictures, materials and steps about  how to create a terrarium.
Tumblr media
this is the terrarium I made, it’s so cool right?
So let’s learn how to do it!
MATERIALS:
1.Glass bottle, reuse one, surely you have a lot on hand.
 2.Scotch tape.
3.Small rocks.
4.Activated carbon.
 5.Land.
6.Medium-sized stones to decorate.
7.Seedlings. You should select plants that are small enough for the glas container. If it grows too large, it will make the terrarium look tight.
8. The use of: Tillandsia stricta, Pilea implicata, Cyathus bivittatus, Fittonia verschaffeltii var. Argyoneura and various succulents.
how to do it
1.Wash the pot and the stones to avoid the proliferation of fungi.
2. Once dry, tape the mouth of the pot to prevent dirt from escaping. If you decide to give it vertical orientation, you can skip this step.
3. Place a thin layer of activated carbon. It will keep the water cool and fight any bacterial growth in your terrarium.
4. At the bottom of the pot are placed the small stones, which will serve as drainage.
5. Place a first layer of soil, trying to cover the entire terrarium.
6. Put the seedlings in the arrangement that we consider most appropriate. It is recommended to use those that need a high degree of humidity.
7. Once the plants are in place, their roots are covered with soil. You can evaluate if you put moss (do not take it from the field), since it is a soil conditioner and beautifies the terrarium. Don't take moss from nature.
8. The decoration can be completed by placing stones of different sizes.
9. Irrigate water two or three times, no more. This will nourish the plant, which will recycle it through respiration. Once this step is completed, the terrarium can be closed.
10. You can place a decorative figure to highlight the beauty of the DIY piece!
Tumblr media
this is the parts of the terrarium.
3-Poem – English and Spanish
english:
oh planet earth i see from space. oh planet earth that you have suffered very slowly. oh planet earth you've always been by my side. oh planet earth that we have fallen in love with.
we are nothing without you like the sky without stars. environment, you are fragile as the glass of my eyes. you give us breath like spring water. covering us like a mother's hug.
Oh planet earth, I know you feel very bad. but the virus arrived and you tended to improve. the environment is crying because we have not taken care of it. When we plant a tree, you blossom with splendor.
My dear environment, you are the prime of life.
I want to take care of you and love you for all your green shoots. weighing on your feelings like an angry volcano.
because we have not cared for you like the sun and the moon that keeps you alive.
4-Creates a video in Movie Maker answering the following question: Why is it important to save the planet? Include your voice recording answering the question in English –  2 minutes.
