All the pokeattorney AU pieces compiled in one place. Eh, didn't realize I drew so much of it. Side note: yes, that's a Yamper. Good eye on those who noticed! ahahah

Some family feels for the pokeattorney AU <3 I noticed I have the tendency of drawing them either sleeping or dozing off... I swear it's not intentional. I think Umbreon would fit very well for Phoenix during disbarment era (and ironically, Umbreon has a connection to poison), while the idea of Trucy + gigantamax Eevee is just too funny to pass up (Apollo will have nightmares) Espeon fits Miles' refined aesthetic. Also note how Espeon and shiny Umbreon both feature the lighter version of Miles and Phoenix's signature colors. They meet the whole Eevee family during a smuggling ring case, Trucy begs to keep them afterwards. Espeon and Umbreon both evolve at the same time, but they're in different timezones - it occurs during a case that involves incidents in two different countries, so they're working separately but something happens and their mons evolve to protect their trainers. On a side note I think Trucy + overalls is the cutest thing so I need to draw a fullbody version sometime.

Pokéattorney AU sketches! Following up on my pokémon AU post from earlier: https://periwinkla.tumblr.com/post/745674186257727488/au-where-everything-is-the-same-but-all-animals 1. Phoenix has a Rowlet and Miles a Ralts - I love the idea of Phoenix thinking about how adorable it is that Rowlet and Miles match. Also I imagined Gregory giving Miles a Ralts when he was little and now I'm sad. 2. Of course, that's Iris in the 2nd pic. I imagine Phoenix going on and on about his reason for studying law (I mean it would only make sense that he told her - and maybe that's the reason he's so secretive about basically everything after Dahlia's betrayal). So it just made sense to give him Goomy! I just had to give him a Dragon type but also Goomy is perfect for him because he goes from being a weakling to a pretty strong mon (at least in lore). Also from a Pokédex entry about Goodra: 'It loathes solitude and is extremely clingy—it will fume and run riot if those dearest to it ever leave its side.' So yeah, pretty apt I think. Iris has a white Flabebé btw.

3. I was indecisive about the Phoenix + Decidueye combo but drawing them out I think it really, really fits him. Btw the reason it's shiny is just because of the color matching better. 4. I think Gardevoir fits Miles the best but I also want to give him a Kingambit. Have them all drink tea in his office. imagine a Kingambit leisurely drinking tea. I also imagine little Franziska dancing around with a Kirlia when they were younger. And now I'm sad again. I want to draw more about this - definitely some Trucy + Hoopa and Kay + Greninja, and way more Miles!

For the pokeattorney AU ❤️ Since Gardevoir has telepathy, there are a few scenes that would be so hilarious in this AU... mostly the ones where Edgeworth shows himself for the goof he is. Although, I wonder, if Phoenix had the magatama in AA1, would a red lock(s) or a black lock(s) have appeared during the unnecessary feelings scene? For the record I don't give the unnecessary feelings line much weight on the narumitsu front per se, but I DO think it sounded extremely corny and any normal person would have snickered at it - but Phoenix and co. aren't normal. (Then again, a lot of what Edgeworth says comes out sounding corny, quite frankly.) What I'm wondering though is if Edgeworth really thought that the unease and uncertainty he was feeling was unnecessary or not - so red or black psyche-lock? Mmm.... I would think red because he's fairly self-aware, but...

Ultimately, I concluded a Noctowl would fit Mia's 'simple elegance' aesthetic better than Alakazam (which has a somewhat more ornate design), although maybe she still does have one. Noctowl would also be a nice mentor for Phoenix's Decidueye. As for Godot, I had a bit of trouble, but I guess Luxray's X-ray vision would help with his partial blindness? Their aesthetic is somewhat similar as well. I also avoided giving him any flying-types because 3-5 wouldn't have happened quite the same otherwise.

Some Maya shenanigans for the pokeattorney AU and some background narumitsu! I live for her teasing Edgeworth to death. For more about this AU: https://periwinkla.tumblr.com/tagged/pokeattorney%20au I think Munchlax and Misdreavus are perfect for her (and Mismagius and Snorlax fit her very well when she's older too, gotta draw that in the future). Munchlax is known for its outrageous appetite and Misdreavus is a mischievous pokémon, but also it's funny that - since they're a Normal type and Ghost type respectively - they can't even touch each other, which is basically what Maya can accomplish via channeling (bringing together the 'normal' world with the 'ghost' world). Also in this universe I imagine the Steel Samurai to have a Kingambit, thus Miles has one as well. Kingambit literally is a Steel Samurai, after all. It also fits with Miles' color scheme, chess theme, and sword theme (the only contradictory thing is that Kingambit is weirdly enough 'not skilled at devising complex strategies' but I guess Gardevoir can make up for that) Maya loves Kingambit obviously, and will absolutely tease them both to death. In this instance, by making both Kingambit and Gardevoir wear Miles' main fashion statement. Also on a side note I love the scene in Turnabout Goodbyes where she gets Polly to tell her the safe number. Just had an idea for the pokeattorney AU. Disbarment era Phoenix gets an Umbreon (easy spying). Miles gets an Espeon. Thus Trucy gets a cute tiny Eevee that never evolves because she rolls like that and probably gigantimaxes it during her shows. (Apollo will later have nightmares) It makes for the best family pictures. Also Umbreon is shiny because it matches well with Phoenix and really, him having two shinies actually makes a lot of sense since he can get pretty lucky. I think they match pretty well, this is info from Pokédex Entries: Umbreon It hides silently in darkness and waits for its foes to make a move. / With its black fur, it blends into the darkness. It bides time, and when prey appears, this Pokémon goes for its throat, and then eats it. Espeon Espeon is extremely loyal to any trainer it considers to be worthy. (snickers) It is said that this Pokémon developed its precognitive powers to protect its trainer from harm. Its fur has the look and feel of velvet. Eevee Its ability to evolve into many forms allows it to adapt smoothly and perfectly to any environment. The question of why only Eevee has such unstable genes has still not been solved. Gigantamax: The fur will envelop a foe, capturing its body and captivating its mind. ...I need to add this to the list of stuff to sketch about.

AU where everything is the same but all animals are replaced by Pokémon. So Phoenix cross-examines a Chatot, defends a Wailord (I know Finizen would fit better but it's funnier) and Missile is a Growlithe that probably sets something on fire at some point, maybe Miles' jabot somehow, which probably leads to Gumshoe not being able to afford anything but noodles for a month or two. Pess is probably a Dachsbun? Miles' main partner would be a Gardevoir (little Miles with a Ralts would be adorable), possibly a Kingambit as well in adulthood? It would kinda fit him in a weird way (chess theme, literal steel samurai theme, general color scheme). Honestly there are many mons that could fit him but these are the main ones I thought about.

I can really see Trucy somehow having a Hoopa and screwing with everyone. Phoenix is a tad bit more difficult to pinpoint. Any mon I thought about is a flying type but he's afraid of heights and it wouldn't fit. The most interesting would probably be a shiny Decidueye because it would fit with his colors and the fact that it's not really a flying type. His hair too, kinda. Also can you imagine little Rowlet with his faux bowtie next to little Miles? Gosh. Phoenix would be like 'see, you're like twins!' would take a thousand photos. (and then when Miles moves away and Phoenix looks at Rowlet he's always reminded of his long-lost friend...cries) Maybe I'll sketch something about it sometime. Also Trucy somehow involving a Decidueye in her magic tricks would be hilarious tbh. A Decidueye with a top hat. Imagine. Athena would probably have a Rotom in her Widget and a Pawmot and/or a Medicham. Apollo would have a Scorbunny or a Whismur. Klavier obviously a Toxtricity. Maya a Munchlax because I like the idea of them both driving Phoenix penniless with burger orders. I want to draw some sketches about this sometime, although I'm still pretty unsure about Phoenix. Other mons I thought about were Appletun (since he likes apples and he's also a dragon type, but maybe it's way too goofy for him even), or even a Goodra (esp in his crybaby days, but also from a pokedex entry: 'It loathes solitude and is extremely clingy—it will fume and run riot if those dearest to it ever leave its side.' so kiiinda similar nature). Maybe a Wobbuffet for funzies because he's a punching bag that always bounces back somehow. Maybe I spent a bit too much thought on this. Oops.

For the pokeattorney AU, I think Trucy would be the only character with a full team and also pc boxes chock-full of mons. She has different teams for different shows and mixes them up and screws with people's minds. She probably has Zorua(s) and Ditto(s) so that she can throw people off thinking she's using one pokémon while she's actually using another. - Hoopa is her 'starter' she got from Magnifi - Gigantamax Eevee for (apollo) shock purposes - Abra and Sprigatito (suggested by @beet-8e-3t ) fit so well and it's very cute - Hydrapple (so much potential for tricks!) - Gengar (disappears and reappers in shadows and a trickster) - all unowns forms - Honedge for sword tricks - Ludicolo (a fun and cute assistant) - Kecleon (''...what is that weird zig zaggy thing moving around??'') - Clefairy (metronome!) - Wishiwashi (gimmicky) - Blacephalon (Hoopa's fault, somehow? and nobody knows what it is, everyone assumes it's some other mon dressed up as a clown) - Dragapult & family (Dreepy bullets??) - Delibird (exploding presents) - Meltan (suddenly starts eating metal and everyone is horrified) For Apollo-Trucy dynamics: - Meowstic for both her and Apollo so they can match (their eyes remind me of their lie-detecting abilities) - Plusle and Minun combo - Latias and Latios would be pretty interesting, and it would probably be because of Hoopa's shenanigans Honestly, there are probably many more still.

Thinking about what mons Mia and Godot would have in the pokeattorney AU - probably Alakazam for Mia (which later becomes the WAA's caretaker, since Phoenix is a mess, and would most probably later on pass onto Trucy), with Godot maybe Luxray? It would help him with his poor eyesight... uhm...

So I had this insane idea of getting inspired by that one valentine day artwork where the gang is making the choco Phoenix bust... I'm basically making a recreation that takes place sometime after SOJ... ...And well, I started by making it a Wright-Edgeworth family thing where Miles and Trucy were making it (in my mind because Trucy asked Maya for suggestions, and she told her that particular story) , but then... I added Franziska because I wanted to draw her (and also found it quite funny she would help with such a thing), and then I wanted to draw some pokeattorney au... so I added some mons, and then Apollo joined in, and Maya, and Kay and Sebastian and Pearls and now it's spiraling out of control. Maybe I'll post some wips tomorrow, this one will take a while with the ridiculous amount of stuff I'm adding in.
