One blink for No, two blinks for Yes, no blinking for Not Sure.

He knows that there are easier ways to communicate with you, but he thinks this specific way is adorable.

It is common for people to speak over you and not pay attention to you.

Piers:

Piers luckily isn't jealous of your adoration of other artists. He doesn't care if he isn't your favorite (though you assure him that he is), and even tells you his own favorites. So, after a long long time of saving up, you get him some tickets for a show. And Piers is excited to experience their music with you

Whether you're into the kind of metal music he's into or not, Piers finds himself laughing at how you jam out. Whether you're banging your head or trying to do your best in the pit, Piers is smiling the entire time. It's one of his favorite nights ever

And it only gets better when the band takes a pause to do an announcement. They call out Piers, and the crowd shuffles away with the spotlight that falls on him. He tugs at his collar, a little embarrassed by all the attention, only for the lead singer to say "so you gonna marry them or not?"

He turns, and there you are on one knee. Piers feels frail for a moment, falling to his knees beside you as he nods. The crowd goes wild for you both, especially when Piers kisses you, the ring on his finger glinting in the light. It really is the best night of his life

Adaman:

Adaman enjoys time with you, however he can get it. Being a clan leader takes up a lot of his time, sadly, so he makes sure to love you to the fullest whenever he can get his hands on you. He's not fond of bringing you flowers, since they wilt after a while, and is more fond of lasing gifts, like pretty stones or handmade clothes.

You take this into account for your proposal. You spend hours carving away at wood with a small knife, doing your best to create a Leafeon like his partner. A lot of scrapped works and a lot of splinters later, and you have a gift, but not a place, or a script.

You take Adaman to the shrine where you fought Palkia with Dialga, where Adaman's world was turned on its head. You take him there, and hold his hands in yours, surrounded by history and magic.

You present the carving you made, murmuring about time and how you want the rest of yours to be at his side. Adaman stares, heart stopped in his chest as he realizes you gave up precious time to make this for him, to bring him here, to tell him you want this to be the rest of your life. Your time, all his to have, if he wants. And he wants that so badly, wants his time to be yours as well. He kisses you, and it's a beautiful answer

Milo:

Milo, as you know, loves plants. He enjoys growing you flowers, food, anything you want to see! He happily accepts you into his garden as well, showing you how he cares for his plants and makes them grow so well. Milo is also very pleased to see you pay close attention to what he tells you, sometimes taking notes, sometimes asking about the plants outside of the garden

He's not suspicious. Why would he be? Milo thinks you're just indulging him in his hobby, learning from him so you can come to love it yourself. He does ask if you'd like a little patch of your own in his garden, and you do consider it before shaking your head. You'd hate to have your poor plants take away from his beautiful ones, despite what he says

That's why Milo's so surprised when you take him out, to a lot farther out from the house, in the Wild Area. You show him a small garden, full of flowers, all of them his favorites. He awes of the natural wonder, until you sheepishly admit that these are your flowers, that you grew yourself, all as you get down on one knee.

Milo cries. He's not ashamed to admit that halfway into your asking him to marry you, he cries. But he can't help it, with how in love wit you he is. You grew him flowers, you worked so hard, all for him. How could he not be so excited to marry you?

Christmas Special - Pokemon

Rika: Mistletoe

The weather outside was nice, not too cold. There was a nice, fresh layer of snow on the ground and you were out shopping with Rika. Christmas shopping for others was always a struggle for you; especially if they were one of those that have everything, or they buy everything that they want. Rika was one of the people that you struggled to shop for, she has everything that she has ever wanted, and doesn't want for much.

Rika pulls you along to a bookstore, entering the warmth of the building. She soon drags you over to the romance section of the store, she stops short as she goes to walk through the doorway, "Well, would you look at that! Those sneaky employees, putting up mistletoe in the romance section!"

Your cheeks start to heat up as she mentions that, looking up to see it for yourself. "I guess we have to kiss then." You say, as you quickly pull her in for a quick peck on the lips. Your cheeks brighten up as you pull back. "It was smart of them to put the mistletoe here."

Raihan: Christmas Tree

Perks of having a giant for a boyfriend, means that he is able to reach the top of the tree. After arriving home with the tree and getting decorations for it, you were excited to decorate. This year, you had decided to get a tall tree, about 7 to 8ft tall. Deciding the best way to decorate was to direct your boyfriend.

As you turned towards Raihan, you picked up a string of lights and ribbon, batting your eyelashes at him. "Ready for the first step Rai?" You asked, handing him the lights, not waiting for an answer. "We'll start at the top the tree." You took a few steps back so you could direct him and not be in the way as he put them up. Once he had finished putting up the lights and ribbon, it was time for the ornaments.

Raihan had decided it was time for you to take over, opened up the boxes. "C'mon Love, it's your turn to start putting things onto the tree." He rifles through the multiple boxes you had, "What colors did you want to do this year? Gold and white, green and red, random?" He asked, pulling a few different ornaments out as he mentioned the different colors.

Leon: Hot Chocolate

You couldn't think of something better to drink, than a mug of hot chocolate after a day out in the snow. You and Leon had taken Hop snowboarding, before dropping him off at their mother's house. Once the two of you got home, Leon immediately sent you to go change as he started to heat up the milk for the hot chocolate.

As you made your way into the kitchen, you saw Leon mixing the cocoa mixture and milk together. He had turned on a Christmas playlist, and he was humming along to "Santa is Coming to Town". You wrapped your arms around his waist, as you approached him, "It smells amazing Lee. Do I smell some cinnamon in it?" You ask, looking up at him.

He sets down the spoon, before twisting in your embrace and wrapping his arms around you. He smiles down at you, "You, my love, have a very good sense of smell. Yes, there is some cinnamon in it. Along with some marshmallows. Just how you like it." He says, placing a kiss on your head. He hands you a mug, holding the other one in his hand. "Cheers Love."

Milo: Dancing to Christmas Music

After a long day of work, all you wanted to do was eat and enjoy some down time with your boyfriend. And that is exactly what you intended to do. As Milo arrived back to your place, he could faintly hear the song, "All I Want For Christmas is You" playing and smell different spices from the kitchen. He let is team out to relax, as he made his way into the kitchen. He paused at the door, leaning against the frame, as soon as he saw you dancing around the island.

It took you a few minutes to realize that he was watching you dance around. Once you did, you held your hand out to him. "Come dance with me Milo!" You yelled. Setting down the spoon on counter and turning down the stove, before you belted out the next line, "I just want you for my own. More than you can ever know! Make my wish come truueeee!" As you sang this, you pranced around the kitchen with Milo in tow.

Milo laughed, as you both terribly danced around and sang the rest of the song. As the song was coming to an end, he wrapped you up in his arms, and softly sang the last few lines into your ear, "All I want for Christmas, is you baby." He kissed you on the temple, "Well, we can make your wish come true love."

Larry: Holiday Photoshoot

It was a Christmas miracle that you got gym leaders to agree to doing a holiday photoshoot. What made it even better, was the fact that Larry agreed to wear a Christmas sweater. What wasn't surprising about it was that it was a gray and black sweater. He had his signature look of stressed, depressed, and ready for death. The photographers paired the leaders and elite four up with each other, or with a champion.

Luckily for Larry, he got paired up with his favorite champion, you. As you walked up to set, you linked your arm with Larry's. Looking over at him, you smiled, chuckling at how uninterested he looked compared to everyone else. "Cheer up old man! Tis the season to be cheery and rejoice in the Christmas joy!" You say, jostling him a little bit. "This will be fun, look lively a little bit for me, please."

Larry looks down at you, and smiles softly. He places a kiss on your temple, "For you, my lovely champion, I will try to enjoy this more." He says, as you arrive at the set. He drags you along, as he follows the directions that the photographer gives him. He unhooks your arm from his, before wrapping his arm around your waist, pulling you in and posing. "Now, why don't you help an 'old man' look more lively?"

Sycamore: Christmas Lights

Every year in Lumiose City, there's a light show that happens in the city center. You have been bugging Sycamore ever since you move to the city and met him, that you wanted to go see it with him. The entire city was decked out with Christmas decorations and lights. This was the year, that you finally got him to agree to take you.

As much as he would love to say that you don't have him wrapped around your finger, you do. The two of you were matching head to toe. You had white long sleeves, dark gray pants, black boots, and gray overcoats on. You spun around to look at him, as the two of you walked towards the city center, grinning up at him. "You look so snazzy tonight, Mister Sycamore." You say, drawling out your accent as you say his name. You had your rotomphone out, taking pictures of you and the lights.

Sycamore's cheeks heat up a little bit, at your compliment. "Well, every snazzy looking man, needs an equally snazzy looking partner." He says, as he catches up to you, spinning you around. Right in time too, as the lights on the tower begin to twinkle. He hears you gasp at the sight, taking in all the different colors twinkling. "I think this exceeds your expectations love?"

“There’s my love!” He peeks up at the sight of you.

He rushes up to the counter, completely moving passed stunned customers.

“Hello to you too Rai, but I thought you had a challenger coming in sometime today?”

The lanky man leans down, pressing a kiss to you nose.

“I mean yeah, sometime today, but that’s not now! I missed ya!”

You stare at him and that happy fanged smile he gives you.

“That means you have to move, sweetie.”

“I know.” Yet he still stands there.

He shows up at the same time every other day so you get his usual ready. Moments later the bell chimes and there stands the sweet grass gym leader.

The apple like Pokémon screeches happily and hops on the counter, contently nuzzling against you.

“Aw I’m happy to see you too! I already got your order ready.”

Milo smiles warmly at you.

“Thank you starshine!” He always comes in during your break, just to spend more time with you.

He pays for his items while you join him and Flapple.

The sweet dragon grass Pokémon had been your gift to him when you two started dating, you’re happy to see him with a spot on your lover’s team.

Milo hands Flapple a small pokéuccino, which he happily consumes.

While Milo sets his hat in the table, sighing in relief at the cool air before slurping down his iced coffee.

“You always make the best drinks.”

He must’ve had a long day.

“It’s my job lovely.”

“I swear you put so much love into it.”

“Yeah, cause it’s for you, and I love you.”

You laugh at his he sputters and chokes on his drink.

Well, he is already great friends with @xsunnysoftx's Kia Lockhart, and @laplerthefandomtickler's Eldritch Scholar! Really though, I imagine he's good friends with all of my friends' OCs. I do think he'd be friends with @eldelascosquillas-blog's tickle monster, too... though he'd have to get used to the frequency of... ah... well. Aheh... 💙

It's a bit tough to imagine, since most of the characters that come to mind for me are human, and they'd have to get past his whole "being a cloud" thing, haha. But in terms of personality... he'd probably get along with:

Any of the professors from Pokemon, particularly Elm, who I think he is very similar to...

Both Blathers and Brewster from Animal Crossing...

Harvey from Stardew Valley, who I also think he's similar to...

Essentially, any professor/doctor/scholar type character you can think of, provided they're friendly, he'd easily get along with and have lots to talk about!

Really, though... he would befriend just about anyone. Despite being shy, he's very social, loves and laughs easily, and generally just finds other people fascinating and likes company. Clouds on Cirropa are very friendly and social in general, they form strong bonds and have fierce loyalty and care for those close to them. Avery's shyness actually makes him a bit of an outlier back home!

Certainly. Soft Raihan is wonderful thing.

Raihan was nothing short of nervous. He loved you more than trying to beat Leon in a Pokémon battle and probably more than Dragon Pokémon. Dressed up in a suit that is in his gym leader colors he waits for you outside of your front door.

“Inteleon you are in charge. No, Toxtricity you cannot play your music past 10:00pm tonight or else the neighbors will fill a complaint again. Dragapult please keep the pranks to a minimum of 3 to 4. Appletun and Yamper don’t eat all of the food and share with everyone else. Finally, Thievul you are second in command and please help Inteleon to best of your ability. I love you all and I will be back by 11:00pm. Bye.”

You close and lock the door. Hearing a low chuckle behind you and you jump to turn around in your outfit.

“Really? Theivul is second in command?”

“Well to be fair he and Inteleon are like the parents of the group. Anyways, you look handsome.”

He blushes

“And you look absolutely stunning. Ready to go?”

You nod and you two are off to your date. You guys had dinner and decided to go on a walk. You notice that he is super nervous about something.

Leon and Hop are your best men with Milo, Bede, Allister, Kabu, Piers, and Gordie are the rest of the best men party, Sonia, Marnie, Nessa, Melony, and Bea are the bridesmaids (Sonia and Marnie are the Maids of Honor), Opal gives you away, and both of your partner Pokemon were the flower girls/boys. Piers was the music man and even Gordie performed with him for a song or two. Melony caught the bouquet of flowers and looked at Kabu.

In the end everything went smoothly and everyone was happy for you two.

Milo is a very calm guy and takes things easy so you probably won't see him jealous often

An instant turn-off for him is when someone gets too touchy with you

He won't make a big scene about it though, he's not that type of guy, but he will pull you aside and try to keep you closer to him by wrapping his arms around you, holding you close, putting his arms around your shoulder, etc.

He won't talk about it, at least at his own will, but if you ask him about it, he'll be a little embarrassed but confess.

Gordie tries to keep it cool but it's obvious when he gets jealous

He clenches his fists, mutters to himself and rolls his eyes. Although many people would just say he's in a bad mood, you know that's not what is happening

He'll not make a scene in front of everyone, but he'll make sure to let the one getting him jealous know that it shouldn't happen again, and that you're taken

But of course, he'll be as respectful as he can, just letting them know you're not available

Leons too oblivious to get jealous, but when he does he just tries to call your attention and pull the other person away from you

He can't stand seeing you give the other person attention so he'll do all the things in his power in order to have your eyes on him.

Piers is always confident and sometimes seems cold but he can be exactly the opposite

when he sees people being overly flirty with you, he tries to hold it in, but they usually keep flirting and he just can't stand it.

Milo:

He's a hard working farm boy, so you know those muscles must be sore. You take the time to help him relax, through hot baths and gentle massages that loosen him into putty. Milo practically cries happy tears to feel you so tenderly easing his stress and pain and stiffness. He kisses your blessed hands a million times in thanks

Milo is also a fan of a warm meal after a hard day of work. Whether it's take out or homemade, he's delighted when you present him with the food. The taste of something good, a movie playing, and you by his side are a combo that relaxes him greatly. And also sends him right to sleep, so be weary of that

Leon:

Leon also tends to overwork his muscles, so he enjoys a good massage too. But he doesn't like to be the only one receiving something, so his preference would be a couple's massage for you both to get relaxing. Leon practically purrs at the combination of the massage and the sight of your relaxed face. He's very very happy, and has been known to fall asleep even during deep tissue massages. Gordie:

Gordie is a fan of distractions from what stresses him out. He'll talk about it later; for now he doesn't want to think at all. He likes playing video games, or even just watching someone play. Offer to play something for him, and he'll lean against your back, head on your shoulder as he loses himself in your gaming. He's fond of puzzly games with humor, like the Stanley Parable or Portal, where he can listen to a narrator ramble and laugh at the silly mistakes you make

In this vein, Gordie likes it when you distract him from everything. He wants to hear things about you, stories from the past that make you laugh or embarrass you, or descriptions of plots to your favorite media, or just you plan rambling about how gum is made. Anything that isn't tied to the present moment, like talking about work, thus letting him get lost in something that isn't reality for a while. He'll face that stuff one his body feels less stiff and heavy

Piers:

Piers channels most all of his big emotions into music. One of the ways he most enjoys unwinding is by playing tunes on his guitar, singing silly, made up songs together. He'll sing a line, and you'll try to rhyme off of it, until you've both got something near incomprehensible. It's okay, though, since your silly responses make Piers laugh harder than anything you've ever seen. It's very cute, and relaxes him quick and easy.

Otherwise, Piers is fond of quality time. Invite Marnie over, get a meal ready, and play board games. Piers will scoff and tease you, but he can be quite competitive at things like Uno or Spoons. The night you both taught Marnie how to play poker is one of Piers fondest memories, especially since Morpeko somehow beat all three of you and won all the cookies in the pot

Being with Milo would mean a lot of your dates would be nature related in some way.

The first date he had taken you on was a picnic in Turrfield.

Most of the food he brought were grown on his farm/garden.

Most Beloved:

Number 1: Squirtle

My absolute favorite is squirtle. What's funny about this is I can't really pinpoint a specific reason why I like him so much. My first pokemon game was alpha sapphire, and I didn't play gen 1 until Let's Go Eevee, so it's not a nostalgia factor. I think my brain just subconsciously selected him back when I was watching the Indigo League anime in middle school. The squirtle squad showed up and my brain was like "Yeah. This guy. He's awesome. This is the one." And he has been my number 1 favorite fella ever since then, and as a consequence he is the pokemon I have the most merch of and it isn't really close.

Please keep in mind this is just what I have in my apartment where I live for college, and that I have even more stuff in my bedroom back at home. Now that I think about it, Koopa Troopa is my favorite mario character, so maybe I have an affinity for characters that are just little turtles. Either way, water is also my favorite type, which means even more bonus points for squirtle.

Number 2: Riolu

Riolu's high ranking has been somewhat of a recent development for me. I've always liked lucario, but I didn't see the light that was riolu until after I watched Pokemon Journeys. Ash's riolu was so silly and adorable, and I always felt so bubbly inside when he was on screen. This shift in my preference is probably due to me developing a major soft spot for cute characters/creatures over the past few years. Most of my favorite pokemon at this point are just little guys because of it. Anyways, the reason I like him so much is because of the aura control him and lucario are capable of. I've always loved aura as a power system; the idea of being able to harness one's own life energy and see it in others is just so cool to me. I especially like how it's established as its own concept outside of moves in pokemon, making it something super unique that only riolu's evolutionary line can take advantage of. I have a lot of lore/worldbuilding ideas for PMD that would utilize aura. For example, Milo, the protagonist of the PMD verse I've been brainstorming, on is a riolu with much stronger aura than normal due to him being a pokemon with a human soul. I have a lot of ideas for how I could use this concept to drive plot points or character arcs, and I might share more in the future if I ever get time to start solidifying a story.

By the way, Milo's partner, Lilly, is a squirtle. No way I don't give both of my two favorites the spotlight.

Number 3: Sprigatito

My love of sprigatito is really quite simple. I love cats. So much. They are easily my number one favorite animal of all time. My Instagram feed is covered in them. So imagine my excitement when I saw that one of the new generation 9 starters was a kitty. My violet team is my favorite team I've ever used in a pokemon game, and the sprigatito line is a massive part of why I love it so much. Sprigatito is adorable, and my meowscarada was so much fun to use after he evolved. On top of that, sprigatito's depiction in Pokemon Horizons makes me love it even more. It's literally just a cat. It loafs. It makes biscuits.. It gets annoyed at the mildest inconvenience. Liko squishes its beans. Plus it releases a super sweet scent when you cuddle it as a bonus. It's so perfect. It's like Game Freak was like "Yeah this is the perfect pokemon for Ray, put it in the game." I have a sprigatito character in my PMD verse named Mayple, but I can't share much about her because it would mean dropping pretty big spoilers for a plot point I have planned.

Honorable Mentions: Greninja and Ceruledge

I love ninjas. I love frogs. Greninja is both. And ceruledge is just objectively one of the coolest pokemon designs ever.

In terms of behated pokemon, I don't have many that I personally despise. It's more so that I feel indifferent about them, and I would simply prefer not to use them on my teams. Usually I don't have any real reason to dislike the ones I do hate; I think it just stems from a gut feeling. The biggest one off the top of my head is the tepig line. I don't know what it is, something just feels off about them. I also dislike incineroar. I like litten and torracat a lot, but they really dropped the ball with the final evolution for me.

I did my best, not very confident in my characterization of Milo by any means, and most of these are silly, but I hope I did him justice :’)
