I finally picked up enough speed to work on enough Pokesweet redesigns to post. Personally, I like how Buizert and Tortewig's line turned out, even though I was winging the design for the latter.

Also, changed the names for Sherzel and Migum + Goman, because those are. Not really great names.

Me and gf recently decided to play this game, and I’m excited but I’m confused on the typings and how they correlate to physical types and special types example. In gen 1-3 fighting is physical and fire is special. Does Pokémon sweet still work like this? I found one documentation of this on pokesweets fandom but it’s confusing. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I do not have that information... but other people do!

After a quick Google search, it looks like the Fandom page has an explanation, and the types are in fact split like in gen 3, as opposed to the actual moves being categorized individually. I know most people don't like to use Fandom though, so here are the details!

We’ve spared no expense in making the experience unique, which is why there is a brand-new type chart consisting of twelve flavors of ice cream. (Apple is totally a flavor of ice cream.) And if you’re sick of Kanto, you’ll be pleased to know this is totally not Kanto, no matter how much it seems to be.

As the world is designed to reward exploration, there’s something waiting in every map that may not have been there before, whether it’s a cleverly hidden item or a dreadfully bad pun. (We have plenty of those.) The PokeSweets themselves are as delicious as they look, and they look good enough to eat!

Star writes Ideas for her Pokepastas

This is for anyone that wants to write my Pokepastas, and wants a good idea on how the story should go! I'm not expecting quality, but I do expect some effort to be put in place if you do decide to write for one of them!

Also, fair warning. Some of the ideas are more darker than others. It also includes anyone wanting to write crossovers with my Pokepastas.

These will also not include Wally (as I am not the original writer of the Pasta, and he just acts like Wally from the main series anyways), and Gigi (b/c I have too many ideas for her!!). Anyhow, enjoy!

Ideas for: Dusk / Selena

Title: …Legit have no idea what title this one would have. Everyone else? I do. This one? I'm sorry, you are on your own.

-Obviously, this stars Selena before she gets turned into the being we call Dusk.

-Sorry to those that want the old design back, Mist is her own character.

-The game takes place on the island where you face Totem Mimikyu. With there being trainers in black cloaks suddenly arriving to the island.

-Selena would go and fight the cult to get them out and leave Acerolla alone! …Only to become the sacrifice instead.

-Everything goes wrong, and Dusk is created. She's basically a revenant, seeking revenge on any cults she finds invading her island. Though she's sweet to everyone else and only appears at night.

-Cannot leave her game, someone would have to mess with the code of the game in order to move her into another game.

-Selena doesn't mean any harm to those that are accidentally hurt by Dusk. She has barely any control over her body anymore.

Ideas for: Sugar

Title: Pokemon: Sweets to Die For

-It's based on the Pokemon Sweets version Rom Hack, so naturally there are beings called PokeSweets instead of Pokemon.

-Instead of Team Cipher like my original idea, it's instead a group calling themselves the Sugar Acolytes.

-The acolytes create the Trickster zorua that breaks loose and starts infecting any PokeSweet it comes across. And then it bites Sugar.

-Sugar starts turning into a candy-human hybrid, and her friends get mind-controlled by the Trickster zorua to start eating her.

-If Pop didn't intervene, Sugar would have died.

-Sugar's aware of the existence of other Pokepastas based upon Romhacks.

Ideas for: Bitter Barry

Title: Pokemon: Bitter Diamond

-Of course the game is a prototype copy made for Devs!!

-Barry had not been replaced with the one we see in the final version of Diamond and Pearl in this version, so he's bitter and not even energetic because he knows the Devs replaced him.

-Eventually the player reaches the Gamefreak HQ in this game, and finds Dev Logs. The player also learns more about this version of Barry.

-They then battle Barry, and afterwards he admits the real reason he's so bitter is because he was abandoned and is lonely. So the player manages to get Dawn inside of the game so he isn't as lonely as before.

-He's aware of the existence of others like him, and wonders if there are ways to help them too.

-Once he learns about Glitchy Red and meets him, that's when they start having a rivalry. Red calls him a rip-off, while Barry calls him a bug.

Ideas for: Silent Red

Title: Pokemon: Silent Red

-This version of the game is different, as while it is Fire Red, it's darker and has blood in it.

-The main character, Red, hates blood because it reminds him of his current situation.

-The plot is normal, shockingly. Red even comments: (It's like they don't notice the changes in our world..)

-Red only talks through the text-boxes, he cannot actually talk because of his coding as a 'silent protagonist'.

-His team starts with a Bulbasaur, because that was the only starter Pokemon left. And from there, the player can get more team members.

-There are no Legendary Pokemon in the game unfortunately, and some Pokemon are glitched out entirely. These glitched out Pokemon are stronger than their normal versions, but are still weak to what they were as a none glitched Pokemon.

-Red admits to having tried to harm himself, but came back to life because the game wants to make him suffer. He hates his new immortality and vampirism, and no one except for himself can see these changes aside from the player.

-If you as a player let Red's hunger get too low, it cuts away to a corpse of someone he drank blood from. He hates doing this, so don't. Unless you want to get the worst ending possible, it's best to just drink any Tomato Juice you pick up if it gets low.

-Yes, he substitutes blood for tomato juice because he likes the taste. It's also a good substitute!

-If he leaves his game, he's aware the infinite supply of tomato juice won't come with him. So he always stashes some in case he gets hungry while he's away.

-Leads to somewhat awkward encounters with other Pokepastas, since he cannot talk. Although he does know some sign language! He's still learning though.

While I’m not playing my nuzlockes on my very legit Gameboy Advance, I sometimes play Poke Sweets, a cute game where all the pokemon are sweet related. And I love how cute it is but some of them... are a little weird, to put it nicely. So I tried my hand at doodling redesigns for them, because I’m not the greatest at Pokemon designs in general.

I changed some of the names for them too to be more apt, but yeah, here are my redesigns and the original sprites next to them.

Pokemon Sweet is actually really difficult, cause it’s not like they just changed the name of types to flavors and called it a day

It’s not always obvious what type/s a pokesweet is, or what types different moves are, or what moves a pokesweet will have. For example, my Cupop (cubone) learned Powder Snow through level up, which is a grape type move. But grape is not necessarily analogous to ice. Cupop itself is grape, and has a grape type move called lollipop which I think replaces Bone Club, pretty sure it’s the same animation.

So like... it’s a sugary wild west out here. I am struggling, but loving it.

I made a Pokepasta based on Pokemon Sweets Version! Her name is Sugar, and she's been through a lot.

Let's see.. she:

~Got mutated into being a candy-like human by her kidnappers.

~Witnessed the creation of Tricksteroa (A new breed of PokeSweet based on Zorua and using the DNA found within those who entered Trickster Mode. Basically, a shape-shifting fox that can make anyone into Tricksters for however long the PokeSweet wants.)

~Endured her friends eating her now chewy skin.

~Escaped with her partner, Popsichu.

Fun Facts (Sugar (also includes some facts about Pop)):

~She hates when the other Pokepastas joke about eating her. It isn't funny, she almost could've died because of how tasty she is.

~Her skin's made of taffy, her bones candycane, and her hairs made of candy floss. Even her hat is edible, tasting like taffy and strawberries!

~Had a large hole under her chest that she covered up with bubble tape. She also covered up her other wounds (except the face wound, she doesn't know what to do with that one) with a few accessories made with melted lollipops.

~(NSFW) If your that desperate to know, her cum is strawberry cream. She also bleeds strawberry jam.

~Popsichu protects their trainer from the other Pokepastas that actually do want to eat her. It's kind of hard not to see why.. she smells so sweet and tastes just as sweet. But also that's messed up, cause she's alive.

~The brooch is actually just a gumdrop made to look like a heart. Don't ask why she did that. Don't even dare question it if you value your life. (and weight)

~The way she kills her victims is pretty ironic. She entices them to eat sweets that she bakes, before she starts stuffing them completely. Her victims don't survive the transformation into a large sweet. Afterwards, she carts off the victim into the deeper parts of the forest to feed them to the wild Pokemon.

~Pokepastas are immune to her tactics of killing, as most cannot get transformed.. or she pities them and refuses to kill them if they are 'just like her' (*cough cough* Gold *cough cough*).
