A little snippet of a WIP

This is for @bringmetheharry, since she’s been so kind to me! It’s a bit of my upcoming rarepair fic, which is a Bressie/Louis paring. 

But, like, Bressie’s a fucking stud and Louis can’t fully be blamed for his actions when Bressie is around. Harry made fun of Louis relentlessly for like four months back in college after Louis admitted there wasn’t much he wouldn’t do for six feet two. And Bressie is six feet fucking six.

So sometimes Louis acts like a fool.

Like when he shows up for work thinking he’s the only one opening that morning, and the only thought in his head is what cereal mix to make once he refills the breakfast bar, and he’s blindsided to find Bressie and Harry already in the kitchen. Harry’s giggling into his omelet and Bressie’s watching him with a soft smile, clearly proud of himself for making Harry laugh--as though it’s hard.

Bressie almost looks halfway smitten with Harry.

Everyone’s halfway smitten with Harry, Louis included, so it shouldn’t really bother him. Harry’s fully aware that Louis has laid his claim on Bressie and plus, Louis is ninety-nine point nine nine percent sure there’s something there between Harry and the new sound engineer, Liam, but Louis also thinks there might be something between Liam and Zayn, so really it’s all very confusing and since it’s proving impossible to get into Bressie’s pants, despite his best efforts, Louis simply doesn’t have the brain power to figure out all the love triangles that are happening around him.

OH MAN. Sleeping at Last - Saturn.  It’s so beautiful, an amazing blend of instrumental and lyrical, and the lyrics just resonate SO POWERFULLY for me about losing my dad. 

you taught me the courage of stars before you left. how light carries on endlessly, even after death.with shortness of breath, you explained the infinite. how rare and beautiful it is to even exist.

Shawn Colvin - You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go I think Bob Dylan is a gorgeous lyricist and songwriter but... not so much a singer.

Ha! Well... here, I suppose. I also have my website for all things writerly and book-related.

It’ll probably be a while before anything comes of it, though. I’m planning to get the first draft to my agent in May, and after that, who knows!

Thank you <33 I worked very hard to make it happen. Paying back student loans + trying to save up money + finishing my degree at the same time was pretty intense. But so worth it!! I hope I can stay, but it’s really hard to get other types of visas in the UK unfortunately, so I’m trying not to get too hyped up about it. I’m lowkey thinking of other projects I can do/other places I could go. Maybe Ireland or New Zealand? Idk... I’m mostly trying to live in the moment, focus on my writing, etc etc.... We’ll see :)

He’d never given up hope of finding Tommy. Never. Or Louis and Harry meet as teenagers and have a sweet encounter in Ibiza. Years later they meet up again...

apparently so! i just googled and tremont music hall closed in 2015. i saw so many shows there in 1995-1996. wow. that’s actually really sad.

Strange How the Half Light (4k) by aheavenlyrush

It’s been two weeks now. Two weeks of tossing and turning in his bed, waking up sticky with sweat, head pounding.

“Your moon is so different from mine, did you know?” the boy, Harry, murmurs, and Louis flushes red, glad the dark of the night hides the blush on his cheeks. Thinking about sweaty nights thrashing around in his bed isn’t the best idea right now. Not here, next to this boy. Some mornings, Louis could swear he wakes up with Harry’s scent on his pillow.

In the light of the moon, Harry tells stories about the places beyond the stars, and Louis wonders about the curve of his lips.
