Journey To Halkidiki
Traveling to Halkidiki, one of Northern Greece's most beautiful places, is magical. Due to the need for airports and train terminals, accessing Halkidiki needs innovative preparation and many transportation choices.
By Car:
Renting a vehicle is perfect for individuals who want flexibility and control. An hour from Thessaloniki, Halkidiki is accessible. The well-maintained roads make driving to the peninsula easy and picturesque. Halkidiki's lack of airports makes Thessaloniki's national road the main route to this trident-shaped gem.
By Bus:
Budget travel means something other than sacrificing Halkidiki. Thessaloniki buses are cheap and easy for Halkidiki travel. Daily bus services from the KTEL Station simplify travel to Ouranoupolis, Polygyros, Nea Moudania, Arnea, Pefkohori, Kallithea, and others. The time varies per location but is usually an hour and 30 minutes.
By Taxi:
Taxis provide a more direct and pleasant ride, especially for individuals who dislike bus stopovers or have heavy baggage. Thessaloniki has several taxis at the airport, train station, and downtown squares. While the drive takes around an hour, traffic may affect it, delivering a more customized and quicker introduction to Halkidiki.
