In a usual fish meal you will be served kerela red rice +spicy (layered with masalas) fish curry and fish fry. They served the big fish fry as an entire piece or small fish that was almost like chips. A typical breakfast was ponni rice with potatoes stew and appam, iddiappam with cholla masala and egg. The dinner we kept light! We also did try beef!
