Tim’s writing is a weird mix of printing and cursive (he gets lazy and doesn't wanna lift his pencil). It's hella slanted and fairly neat. Still, his writing is hard to read at a glance and that's how he likes it dammit (nosey mfs are everywhere👀)

Angela’s writing, and I am being incredibly biased because I love her, looks like freaking calligraphy 94% of the time. Otherwise, her letters are always really long and flowy. I feel like she’d have the occasional doodle in the corner. She stopped dotting her I’s with hearts when she was ten and Tim made fun of her, now she makes sure the hearts are MASSIVE when she leaves him a note.

Curly’s looks like you tried to teach a radioactive iguana how to write and failed miserably. Because of this, Ponyboy keeps Curly’s head in his lap and writes all his essays for him.

Darry: writes hard as FUCK like everytime he writes the table is shaking like theres an earthquake and GOD forbid hes trying to erase something, BUT his handwriting is still neat, its always in cursive, and its slanted, when he writes his eyebrows furrow automatically

Soda: hes still trying to figure out his handwriting, it just changes a lot, but some aspects of them stay the same, theres always a lil doodle, like a poorly drawn realistic eye or a cartoon horse and a carton of milk, and the letters r kinda bubbly, and he cant write in cursive, well he can it just looks a bit messy, some teachers ask him to stay after class so he can read what he wrote bc they cant read it and sometimes he straight up goes “damn i cant even read that either”, then there r times where his handwriting COMPLETELY changes bc he just wants to hurry it up and stop writing, when he writes his tongue is sticking out a bit and hes mouthing the words hes writing

Pony: his handwriting is a weird mix of cursive and just regular handwriting, its like hes trying to write in cursive and gives up but doesn’t wanna have a weird handwriting shift in the middle of his paper so hes trying to disguise it (if ANY of that shit made sense) , w his paper theres small sections where he just writes down random thoughts and his teachers r always like “????” cause half of them arent even remotely related to what they are learning bout, theres also some doodles depicting what hes talking about or there r just random doodles in general, when he writes hes like reacting to what he wrote, like sometimes he takes a step back to reread his sentence and his face is literally like “bro wtf????” cause he cant even get what hes trying to say and its the cutest and funniest thing ever
