Turned out the reason for the prolonged hug was because Sal had fallen asleep he had been working out recently tried to hide it only for to fall under at a bad moment. Now he was laying against Osir while hugging him. If Sal could he'd be saying sorry right now and not to worry. In reality the Sneasel simply remained silent snoring.

It would take a bit of time befoe he awoke once more. But, his grip wasn't tight he was careful still even as he slept.

Another day, another anomaly to investigate, and this time with a lead to go off of at the very least, as it wasn't an entity or a pokemon the Garchomp and his teammates were after this time. Orion takes a moment to split off from the group, the three of them deciding to split up to try to cover this entire forest and mountain range in one fell swoop, Orion heading deeper into the forest, while Enki checked the mountains, and Phobos looked around the outskirts of both.

The three of them had gotten quite masterful at doing their job, of course Orion took that with great pride, given what they've all gone through in their pasts, being a Garchomp has its perks, the heightened senses help him out with finding the anomaly, and, while Enki had extrasensory, and Phobos had some form of foresight towards anomalies, Orion had nothing but his wits, and his instinct to go off of.

Of course, it doesn't help when he knows now that he isn't persay alone in this forest and range, outside of his teammates that is. Outside of the pokemon that live here, that is. Staring at him like he's intruding their space, while others looking out of curiosity, maybe knowing that they've come here for a reason.

The imp tilted her head upon hearing this information, a slight bit of confustion seen in the gems that was her eyes.

" Salvador, you are not there to get dating tips. You're there to find out what makes him suffer. Do you understand ? "

She took another step closer.

Her face still beaming, she leans down and gently scoops up Sal, and...pulls him into a hug, for now. And being careful not to poke him with her chest spike.

"Hello, my pretty! I have you now!" She says in a playfully "scary" croon, putting a faux-sinister smirk on her face. "You're mine for today!"

It would not take long for the Typhlosion to get really dizzy as Sal kept Spinning. Falling over, very confused now.

"So what would be the purpose of strange, very young humans attempting to summon me within a domain that is meant for such an occasion, be for?"

They can't imagine their visage would be welcome to an event.

Sal wasn't used to this as of yet. Being near someone who was safe to be around was a new experiance for the Sneasel. He could hardly remember a time where he wasn't on the run or trying to do all he could to survive. The fact that Ryu was willing to be his friend meant a lot. Though, Sal also realised there was danger to this too.

"Hey Ryu...I should tell you...there are people who are after me."

It was hard to put it into words but Sal was wanted in a sense. There were pokemon hunters who learned that he belonged to a rich person. And those people thought taking him home would lead to some reward. That wasn't the case though, Sal could hardly explsin that since he couldn't talk to humans. But even so Sal had to tell Ryu.

"Pokemon hunters, they think they will be paid. I left my trainer...it wasn't a good time..."

Sal hugged the back of the lucario as he said that. He was in a bit of distress talking about it. Still, he felt he had to talk.

Solaris turned to face Sal. The Charizard's arms were still wrapped in bandages, stained in weeks old blood. He gave a slight wave, and winced before continuing.

"Hey. It's... A long story... But the scales on my arms were ripped off. They're still healing, and I'll be going through rehab soon to get my strength back in them. Or at least mostly back."

                 ❮  aside from the fact that they're often a favorite pick for the most vile and wicked that humanity has to offer ? in general they have some of the biggest attitudes among Pokémon. I suppose we have that in common, but it doesn't change how it grates on my nerves at times.

I think it is this illusion of immunity that gives them the confidence to act dangerously with me, but I'm more than willing to prove them wrong if they cross the line. otherwise, I have no problem maintaining a cordial interaction with these types, provided they intend to do the same.  ❯
