As promised, some of #PortugueseFoodPorn . They are in chronological order and, it seems, in the order of degrading quality. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ As we got more tired to look for decent places the quality of food dropped. 🤢 So, in order of appearance: 1. #SalmonTartare at @opregolisboa probably the best dish I got in #portugal🇵🇹 along with a great #Fado show. 🎤💃🕺 . 2. #charcuterieboard at the same place @opregolisboa . 3. #GrilledOctopus🐙 at @alfamagrill , #fairlyokeyest dish . 4. #CuttlefishSalad🦑 at the above @alfamagrill . Greasy concoction of dubious taste. 🤢 . 5. #RoastedPiglet🐖 I barely tried that only carried visual appeal. . 6. Soup of some sort at #trindaderestaurante in #Alcobaça that was actually tasty, but we weren't too hungry to eat the whole meal there. . 7. #BacalhauÁlagareiro or #CodfishLagareiroStyle . Oven roasted in a puddle of oil with some 💩 garnish. 🤮 Biggest disappointment of all. . 8. #PastelDeNata that never disappointed with ☕ which is universally good in #PT🇵🇹 . 9. 10. #Francesinha sandwich, which is "Portuguese sandwich originally from Porto, made with bread, wet-cured ham, linguiça, fresh sausage like chipolata, steak or roast meat, and covered with melted cheese and a hot thick tomato and beer sauce." Basically, a multilayer 🥪 covered in molten 🧀. Surprisingly interesting dish. 🤔 . .
