Today's Focus
Tumblr media Tumblr media
09.05.23 - First day at work back from the Labor Day holiday. Does anybody ever want to go back to work after a long weekend? I don't think so, and met up with one of the Consumer Fraud ladies on the way into the office and she commiserated with me. At least it's gorgeous out; the cooler weather and rain won't move in until later in the week.
Work - Stephanie has a deposition on Friday so that's probably mostly what I'll be preparing for. Since the whole court system takes off for the holiday, I don't really have anything backed up except a couple of late efiles from Friday. However, the day after a holiday is just. Bound to be busy.
Background Noise - Well I'm back to trying to marathon YT videos lol. I know I have a Labor Day Philip DeFranco to watch; I'm sure over the weekend Charlie uploaded half a dozen vids. It's Tuesday so I probably have Dark Asia with Megan and my bestie sent me a video about EDP445 getting caught being a pedo again so I'm sure I'll have a couple videos on that shit to watch. [EDP445 is a legitimate predator, though 'pedo' may be a stretch since he appears to be interested in pubertal teens. He has, however, made multiple attempts to have inappropriate conversations with kids he knew were way too young and so like. He's a real actual predator.]
Study - If I get a chance to, around the work I have to do, I'll probably read some news articles today and take the studying easy. I have a couple of essay I'd really like to write/finish and eventually post so I might focus there.
Extras - It is D&D night! So it's a good thing I did all my chores yesterday because I will have no time to do anything once I get home except make dinner. I did a fancy chicken & rice casserole yesterday; today is crispy salt & vinegar smashed potatoes with steak and broccoli.
