award for me frfr. i said i was gonna post the sketch dump earlier but here i am posting it a day later lmaoooo

but here are rough sketches of my ocs! in order: gina (top left), itzel (top right), luciana (middle), and gonzalo (bottom left). was gonna add another but ran out of steam 🫡

gina glaviano-skaggs

hero alias: ghostly

fandom: dc (comics and animated)

backstory: chose to become a thief after running away from home, but later chose to be a hero after her actions almost killed someone. weeks after her hero debut, her heroism catches the justice league's attention.

age: adult (comics and various series), 16-17 (justice league the animated series and unlimited) because team as family/found family/stray gets adopted always has me go heart eyes™

fun facts:

• sicilian and black, with her mother's family hailing from england. is also one of my shortest ocs standing at 4'11 (149 cm) tall.

• second of three children. after her younger brother's death from illness, her parents treated her and her older brother horribly. two weeks after her brother moved away to university, she ran away too; chopping off her hair as a parting gift to her parents into the messy pixie you see now.

• a bit of a coward, will turn intagible or invisible with her power if anxious and will run or fly into danger with her eyes squeezed shut the majority of the time.

• after wally's (the flash) death and the rest of the justice league becoming the justice lords; gina didn't like how everyone changed and ran away, ironically growing her hair out after she went on the run.

i created her during my junior year of high school, now years later i'm fleshing her out! also first attempt of trying to draw the animated artstyle, it looks decent ig?

itzel texada

nickname: rapunzel (until she trimmed it), because she can fight with her very long hair without needing to tie it back

fandom: tokyo revengers

backstory: joining into the delinquent lifestyle for fun, itzel was the attack unit captain of her own gang "red nightingales" until they got absorbed into tenjiku after a losing battle. with balancing gang and cheerleading duties, she wants to have fun and balance all hobbies without worry.

age: 18 (2005), 19 (2006), 21 (2008), 30 (2017)

fun facts:

• born in valparaíso, chile and is the youngest of three children, having two older sisters.

• cheerleader in high school and college as one of the flyers. known for fighting opposing gangs in full cheer uniform, which confused a lot of delinquents (tenjiku included).

• host mom is good friends with her parents and sees itzel and her sisters as her daughters. itzel joined the foreign exchange program and flew with said host mom to yokohama at 8 years old and has since recieved her citizenship.

• inspiration for her creation: juliet starling (lollipop chainsaw) and ling xiaoyu (tekken).

luciana navarro

nickname: nana

fandom: tokyo revengers

backstory: originally was gonna join in another gang with her friends until the potential commander was invited to join the tokyo manji gang. now there's confusion as to why she's the only girl in the gang.

age: 15 (2005), 16 (2006), 18 (2008), 27 (2017)

fun facts:

• older navarro twin. stress/annoyance level raises to 100 when witnessing her brother's antics.

• the twins were born in león, nicaragua and the family soon immigrated to japan when the twins were three. they lived near shibuya where they met hanma. they later moved to shibuya at the age of nine and still reside there.

• glasses gets lost somehow? no problem, she can still fight without them.

• mikey assigned her to the 4th division and now that toman knows about her twin, said division is now referred to as the "twins division"

gonzalo navarro

nickname: g-man

fandom: tokyo revengers

backstory: the more famous twin who is not in toman but commands his own gang. after his gang lost to toman and he found out about his twin being in toman, he trusted that she would be in good hands. is also notorious for being rowdy, causing trouble wherever his gang went, and an all around nuisance.

fun facts:

• unlike nana who didn't recognize hanma at all when he met her at the august 3rd battle, gonzalo almost didn't recognize him until he got a good look at his face. both boys met again when they ran into each other in a dark alley.

• is basically a combination of hanma and mochi, but more like mochi. will bring out a weapon if his opponent does and hates sneak attacks.

• scar on his left cheek thanks to a knife fight. when their mom found out, she lectured him for hours which ended with her crying. after that, he and nana vowed to hide their gang activities from their parents from now on. which is a bad idea but both twins are stupid.

• shinichiro sano is his biggest idol. the reason why he became a delinquent.

mom and dad navarro are also like bakugo's parents but without the yelling lmao
