I don’t agree with this. I don’t like to argue yell and i hate manipulators too. This does not make me or chird for that matter manipulative. I see why you would say this though. Narcissists want shy and quiet partners that when you say jump they will ask how high, i 100% agree with you on that. But it can also mean that you like to resolve thing in a calm and mature way (not that chris has shown a lot of maturity the last month) and not with a powermatch of who can scream the loudest. Frankly, relationships that have this dynamic tend to be toxic

Truth be told, there is a toxicity trend going around, just take a look at the city girls/city boys up trend on TikTok. People are being mean and for the sake of being mean and look for conflict just for shits and giggles. And it is not an attrictive look. I hate this trend and i do not want to partake in this at all, and i imagine i am not the only one. Just my two cents.

Elriel Mate Behaviour

1. So after reread some of acotar past book and some of others post lately about elriel mate behaviour and parallel, i am really convince that elriel are mates and the second mate thing is real. Sjm said that if there are two mate bonds only one will be activate and in elriel situation this explain why Azriel couldn’t be in the same room with Elain and Lucien because of the mating bond scent. Elriel bond are not activate but the uncontrollable instinct as a mate eg.to eliminate any threats and protective towards their mates are there.

“ Lucien as Beron’s son, has the right to demand it (blood duel) of you.”. “ I’ll defeat him with little effort.” Pure arrogance laced with every words, But it was true.

Azriel only said coldly, “If Lucien kills Graysen, then good riddance.”

2. Next are the parallel of elriel between Feysand and Nessian regarding mate behaviour are also undeniable

The similarities of this two situation is that both male are ready to sacrifies their lives and they aware of the repurcussions. Cassian knew the rule of the blood rite that he would be hunt down and executed if he retrieved Nesta while Az would die (nearly die) if enter the Hybern camp that even his shadow recoil. Eventhough Cassian decided not to rescue Nesta he still feels worried and restless for four days and just hope that she survives.

“You’d know if she’d died,” Azriel said, pausing his work and looking up at Cassian. He tapped his brother’s chest with a scarred hand. “Right here—you’d know, Cass.”

I don’t know but this feels like that Azriel has the same understanding and have been through it to said it to cassian like that🤷🏼‍♀️

3. So to be mates you must somehow match, equal and complement each other. We know that Azriel are one of the most deadliest Illyrian ever lived and his siphon contains only the killing power of an Illyrian and his shadowsinging ability was developed and feared by enemies. As for Elain we know that she is a seer can see vision and future and a lot many more that would be discover in her book but same as Nesta and Feyre she was made by the Cauldron and it turns out Cauldron likes her to purr at her presence and found her so lovely. At this point Elain could regard as powerful for the Cauldon itself blessed her with a seer gifts. And to add to the mix, Elain also practise stealth and maybe some spy stuff.

She scanned Elain from head to toe, wondering if she’d been taking lessons in stealth either from Azriel or the two half-wraiths she called friends.

Elain stepped out of a shadow behind him, and rammed Truth-Teller to the hilt through the back of the king’s neck as she snarled in his ear, “Don’t you touch my sister.”

I am not saying that Lucien is weak but in terms of powermatch and similarities between elriel it seems to make them as equal and best partner especially doing mission that giving good cause to save Prythian and Cauldron seems to play match maker in this👀

Okay this may be nothing but i can’t help myself to point out that even in present buying Elriel are buying the best gift and complementing each other ( what are the odds that Az bought paint and Elain gave brushes).

4. The last one i want to point out is Mor. So Mor have the power of truth right and she always there in mate situation. What if she could know a mating bond because of her power truth and reveal secrets ( A thing of secret, lovely, beauty)👀

Mor stayed overnight, even going so far as to paint some rudimentary stick figures on the wall beside the storeroom door. Three females with absurdly long, flowing hair that all resembled hers; and three winged males, who she somehow managed to make look puffed up on their own sense of importance. I laughed every time I saw it.

This scene was Mor painting in the wall during Feyre retreat after her mate revelation and before the sisters were made. At first i thought that the three female were mor, feyre and amren but amren has short hair👀. Maybe this is a forshadowing of the three brothers and three sisters🤷🏼‍♀️

At this point Elucian will not be endgame okay i truly believe so and sjm said it is OBVIOUS (elriel👀) and it seems like Mor also thinks the same. She knew something we dont.

He was still happy to be Mor’s buffer with Azriel, but there’d been a change lately. In both of them. Mor no longer sat beside Cassian, draped herself over him, and Azriel..

So Cassian said that not only Azriel somehow gave up on Mor but Mor also stop to make Azriel jelly maybe because she sees there is no need to do it any longer. Maybe she knew abt Az feelings towards Elain.

But I strode to my seat—nestled between Amren and Mor—in time to see Elain say to Azriel, “Hello.” Az said nothing. No, he just moved toward her. Mor tensed beside me.

I think this when Mor started to see the truth between elriel feelings?? mating bond?? i just found it weird why she have a certain reaction towards them and maybe it has something to do with her truth power.

I just want to say that if elriel are not mates than it is fine too but the parallel and the crumbs really make me thinks the second mate are real. Lucien action towards Elain also show mate behaviour but much weaker?? compare to Azriel reaction. i dont know will find out in the next book to confirm. just sharing my two cents😘

The RA girls and lipstick/eyeliner

might be inspired by my own struggles

JENNY is the only one who can pull off bright red lipstick. effortlessly. can throw on sweats and red lipstick and is red carpet ready. amazing. simple black small winged eyeliner that costs her .3 seconds exactly. powermatch.

CASSANDRA either wears a super shiny bright pink or none at all. depends on her mood and the level of misogyny that her guests radiate. also wears some eyeliner, but usually tailored to the colour of her clothes.

ALYSS has a surprising large amount of matte lipsticks. she matches her lipstick to her clothes and if it’s not the same shade it’s not happening. eyeliner is too much effort though, so she doesn’t wear it often.

MADDIE owns several shades of green matte lipstick just to mess with her mentor. prefers natural lipgloss because it balances her colourful (and sometimes quite massive) winged eyeliner.

This is an interesting idea. Like, could Kitty’s daemon go through walls too, or would she need to be in contact with them to phase them with her? Does Kurt’s daemon automatically teleport with him, or do they have to be touching? If Ororo’s daemon is a cat and there’s a proximity limit, how high can she actually fly with her daemon on the ground? Same for any other flyers, like Warren

I think theoretically, all daemons would be a powermatch SO LONG as the person has control of their powers, if they struggle with it, physically or emotionally, so does their daemon and in far more obvious ways.

Day 90

Woke up around 9 and got to campus by 1050. Went straight to lecture and got there on time. We finished up the group projects that we did last lecture and then we talked about neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD. Just went over the basics and watched videos and that’s it. After that, went to Webb and chilled until lab. Went there around 120 and got there on time as well. We went over Repeated Measures ANOVA testing which wasn’t that bad. It’s just like one-way but with an extra step or two. We ended kinda early so my TA gave us our exams back to look over. I looked at the 3 points that I got off and it was really careless errors. Tbh I should of gotten a 98 because I forgot to square root an answer but oh well. I had a question about the lab assignment that I turned in yesterday and when I first approached my TA she was like “you got a 97 on the test you shouldn’t have any questions to ask” which was kinda funny. Also, the girl that I studied with for that exam asked if I could help her/study when she doesn’t understand something which i’m totally fine with. This stuff is actually kinda easy so I can do it. I should be a tutor or something haha. Anyway, yeah we got out of lab around 245 and I went straight to webb afterwards. Just played smash which included a doubles power match between me and spot (1) and Jeremy and Tai (unranked?). We won 2-0 which was good. There was some smash 4 so I played that as well. Jeremy also stopped by for a little cause he had nothing to do until 7 so that was cool. Around 630 maybe, me, Avial, Richard, Spot, my big, and Shelly went to Tortilla West for 85cent tacos. I offered to pay for Richard cause I didn’t buy him a birthday gift yet so yeah. He only wanted these nacho things (pictured above) which were really good but expensive ($14 ugh). I also got 3 soft tacos which was pretty good. Also most of the time Shelly was messing with these apps that I had on my phone because she thought they looked cool so I was just helping her. Anyway, we left and got back to campus around 730. Shelly went to go to a game or something while everyone else but me and spot went to the library to go study for a test. Me and spot went back to Webb and we powermatched in PM. I won 3-1 despite me playing really bad. After that, we played a little more pm for while and then dexter brought his smash 4 setup. Played some teams matches for awhile and left campus around 1010. Got back home, ate some leftover beef noodles that my parents got and played some tsum tsum. It’s 150 now and i’m hella tired so i’m gonna knock out.

Day 99

Woke up multiple times probably around 630, 7, 8 and then early 9. Probably should of woken up at the earlier times because I rushed to get to campus early cause I thought I could still make my walk-in advising meeting before class started. Got there around 1025 and remembered I had to print out my transcript so I did that and then went to the place. Ended up having to wait for 3 other people to go and by the time it was my turn I was already like 5-10 minutes late. It was all worth it in my opinion because I learned a lot from this advising meeting. Literally everything that I thought was wrong and now I have to rethink everything. It was a real good meeting in my opinion and I probably have to see her again next week. Anyway, by the time my meeting was over I was 30 minutes late for lecture but I went anyway. We learned about eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia and obesity so that was pretty interesting. After lecture, went to Webb and chilled with smash for a little. Around 1 I went to the library to do the perception quiz with the twins. Just chilled for a bit and me and Gennie decided we were going to do a different class that’s on a Wednesday 710-950 (exceptional child) next semester. It works better for both of us since we both want/need to take it. After that, we took our quiz and I went first and got a 100. Then we found out that we don’t have to do the last quiz next week but we’re going to do it anyway because why not. Around 145 we left cause the twins had to go pick up their dad at the airport by 230. I went back to Webb and played smash for a good 2 hours. Me and Spot (1) got powermatched by Brian and Ke (2) in PM and we won 2-0 so that was good. Dustin also came by for the first time in a long time so it was good to see him again.

Around 410 I went up to the cyber loft so I could get my life straight. I was in the main computer area for a good while cause I didn’t know where Jonita was and she was in the small room next to mine. I went to her and just finished up making my schedule for next semester and everything college related. My schedule isn’t looking too bad since i’m pretty much guaranteed not to have a friday class. It was just stressful thinking about everything and I was also talking with Jonita about whether I should go back to work at amp or not and that was stressful so I just left and played smash around 5 maybe. Did that for a good while and there were some power matches. Geno power matched Jason (9) and won and then he powermatched Vann (7) and won. Jason power matched Vann and I left in the middle of it around 9 with Jonita.

We walked back to our cars and decided we should go out to eat cause hungry. Went home and Jonita met up with me. It was around 930 and we decided Applebee’s cause half off appetizers (I called to make sure). I got some really stupid ribs and like 4 meatballs which I was really disappointed with (seen above). It wasn’t bad for the price I guess but eh now I know next time not to get it. We left around 1115 and and dropped Jonita back to my car at my house. After that I went to go check 711 and Walmart by my house to see if they had this import Monster that Jas showed me earlier. It was really good cause the flavor was so rich but neither places had it. Just went home afterwards and was gonna do some SONA credits but tsum tsum started working again and I was addicted for a good while. It’s now 150 and I just might play some more games cause why not.
