1) What got you into Tumblr ?

-I don’t remember when and how I made my Tumblr account, but I remember being addicted to Percy Jackson ? I liked almost ALL Percy Jackson fb pages, and I noticed they use posts from Tumblr a lot… Then there was this art that’s just—w o w. Amazing. I was really amazed and, I don’t know, I wanted to draw like that ? So I thought “who tf is this” and went to find the artist name—and it was Viria ! Yep, the almighty Viria. I found out her DevArt and I followed her there—then I also found out she had Tumblr so… I made my own. And followed her @-@ Is this creepy ? Fuck it sounds creepy—but yes, I did ! And so I thought “huh I wonder if Soul Eater is alive here” because truth hurts but… Soul Eater is dead in mostly every other website other than here :( SO I searched the SE tag and FUCK I’m not disappointed ! ;v; So many art, events, resbang, SE friends… AHHHHHHHHHH—

So yes. That’s how I got to Tumblr 😂 Cheers to @bbbutterfingers for inspiring me to draw Soul Eater things because of her cute af art ;v; And cheers to @mrsashketchum for being my first PH friend who also likes Soul Eater ! ;-; You are so rare mak omg ily 2) What made you passionate about drawing ?

-Soul Eater ! :D fuck, now you can tell how much this anime ate my life, huh ? XD Soul Eater was my first anime and it left something… Idk, great. In me. And while I was watching I can’t stop thinking about how the animation was simple but LIT, so when I got back home I decided I’ll draw them. I was like, nine ? Or ten. Somewhere before fourth grade… I drew a lot, EVERYWHERE, even in notebook paper. I copied from references in the hopes of me being able to draw them from heart, which is what I’m doing right now ;v; My art is still not perfect but I’m still practicing, and I plan to, like—take a course in college that can improve it ? I plan to be an artist in the future <3 I don’t know, I guess in the middle of all the copying of references and staring at digital drawings (until I got my drawing tablet), I developed the passion to learn more and draw… If one day, I’m able to PAINT Soul and Maka digitally, I’d be so fucking proud I might cry @-@ (I can also show you my very first drawings if you want, I kept them… It’s cringey but I’m proud because I’ve gotten so far without even realizing it :’) ) 3) Why do you love Soul Eater ?

-FUCK, I’VE WAITED FOR THIS QUESTION FOR SO LONG—

I love Soul Eater for A LOT of things. Soul Eater opened a lot of opportunities to me—drawing, writing… I first saw Soul Eater with my cousins. My family and theirs have this tradition that over summer vacation, I’d spend a week in my cousin’s house. And there, well, my elder cousing (let’s call him Kyle) told me something about “a girl being able to lift a scythe easily and a boy who can’t” ? And yes folks, that is SE, ft. Maka and Blackstar. So I was amazed, like “woah she sounds cool”, and because of that, the three of us watched the anime. And I was shook, okay—I already shipped SoMa at such a young age XD And I was so eager to draw them ! I wanted to draw Maka and Soul so much—I wanted to learn to draw them without references because I saw my eldest cousin (Kirsten) drawing Kid from her computer. It has been years though, and they’ve moved on from the show, but I haven’t @-@

Also, uh… A few years ago my life went a bit downhill and… I developed anxiety ? I haven’t consulted a doctor but I think I did, and… I don’t know. I never finish a day without being so terrified of something—may it be a deadline, or an argument, or something I did… It was also those days when I missed Soul Eater so much. So one day, I was scared of approaching a friend to apologize from a fight, then something came to me, like “What would Maka do ?” And it hit me—exactly. What would she do ? And I thought, she’d be really scared like how she was when she and Blackstar had that fight (episode 33 I guess ?) but… She’d face it. Then there’s also this “fear makes us stronger” quote she said and… Since then, that was how I cope. It helped me face things recently :D

The bottomline is, Soul Eater helped me a lot with life. It gave me passion, gave me an inspiration to fight something I hardly can. The characters were so great and I learned something from each and every one of them, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget how much this anime helped me ;-; Okay this is getting dramatic now Mari I gotta stop—

💕: who is more likely to make huge declarations of love in front of other people?

Pretty sure this would be both of them. Soul is a dork who tries to be cool and he is but he loves Maka so much he’d be willing to, like, punch anyone who dared to talk flirt with her—and probably announce that he loves her more than he loves himself even though it stains his cool reputation and omg ain’t that the sweetest shit ???

Maka would straight-up splatter other girl’s brains with a Maka-chop if they just  as much dare to ask Soul to be their partner for the millionth time right beside her. Probably kick his ass too if he ever entertained one XD

💓: who initiates most physical contact?

Maka. I mean, can you just

Maka holds her hand out for Soul to hold at almost everything they do; weapon form, walking, comforting each other.. Yeesh. The shit I’ll never ever forget is when Maka let Soul hold her hand so he doesn’t get overwhelmed by madness

  even if he still ended up doing so though lol

Oh and also that part where Maka broke down in tears because Medusa was a bitch and Soul just stood to let her cry against him like

I’m not done but I’m reserving all other hand-holding touchy touchy scenes in case someone also asks for this XD

 Maka wins the clingiest meister award and Soul is fine with it okay ???

💌: who is more likely to send cutesy texts to the other?

…..Tbh I think they barely text because they’re always next to each other, so when Maka’s in her room scrolling through social media shit and Soul is doing the same with his pc I’m just sure they’d send each other memes that remind them of each other… Like actual puns (Soul would mostly send these LOL), cute ass posts, Maka tagging Soul in those “relationship goals” posts either to agree or disagree (Maka once saw this “I’m your damsel in distress” bullshit and Maka would add a “lol @Soul is the damsel in distress” and they’d both laugh),

Also, they’re both huge fandom dorks so Soul would either tag Maka’s name in a picture of a certain book set, or Maka would tag him in a fandom reference post. 

Imagine them being excited for new seasons though.

18) Love or wealth ?

Love ! Well, that’s if I have a stable life of course. At some times we’d have to choose wealth but if it’s up to me and not the circumstances, I’m much of a love kind of person. :c

Death. Any day. I am a huge coward and I fear pain in huge and long amounts, so... A quick death would be great.

29) Friendship or romance ?

Friendship ! I mean, I have a hard time moving on from break-ups and goodbyes but... It’s harder if it’ saying goodbye to a best friend. Or a friend in general/ Forever. That’d kill me, so, uh... Yeah XD

Top 5 Soul Eater characters :3 ?

hOLY FUCK MY FIRST ASK—

Okay, uhm… This might be long XD

1) Maka Albarn: She’s my role model, ever since I watched SE I strive to be like Maka because she’s an amazing girl even though she’s a bit unreasonable sometimes.

And, holy fuck, she has the best school, the best mind, the best partner, and the best friend circle. I love how she’s very brave and how she uses her courage to get through anything that stands in her way. Also, she’d kick your fucking ass if you ever touch her friends specially if it’s Soul. I still strive to be like Maka though :D But in my own way ;v;

2) Soul Evans: I have always found pianos cool but what made me want to learn how to play one is this guy, so now I kinda do (only with a basic keyboard, not a grand piano bc I’m broke). Plus, I love how he’s always there for Maka, and how he thinks of strategies and… Basically everything ?

I mean that one time in the anime, he hesitated using his piano (the one in the Black Blood room) in fear of scattering the Black Blood throughout his whole team—but he knew it’d help them team resonate against Mosquito. And there’s that part in the manga where he basically saved everyone from madness using his piano skills to redirect Maka’s anti-demon wavelength into Arachne’s webs. He also gave Maka the idea of beating Giriko’s ass in the manga by doing that “Soul Adagio” thingy.

So yes, I think Soul is more intelligent than he’s ever given credit for. We all need a Soul in our lives and I’m still looking for mine.

3) Death the Kid: YASSSS MAH SYMMETRY BOI ILY

Anyway, yes, Kiddo. Damn, I have always found him amazing. Behind all the symmetry tantrums and the comedy he gives in the anime, he has this sad side, like… He feels he’s not good enough to be a shinigami almost all the time. But even though he’s like that, he’s very calm and reasonable (when he’s not having tantrums that is).

I love Kid because of his composed nature even in the most earthshaking things, because I myself cannot do that—I freak out at a lot of things, but yeah. Kiddo, the cool kiddo. I’d like to draw him but I can’t really do it properly ;-;

4) Blackstar: MY HYPER STAR BOY ! Yes, Blackstar. I love how he never gave a fuck about people hating him for being a part of the Star Clan. I can’t do that—I feel very insecure when people point out shit about me, so I love him for being confident with himself because I’m kinda not.

I idolize our almighty idiot for being a brave, happy kiddo who accepted why his people were killed. To be honest, I see more in Blackstar than just the series clown, though. I love how he matured in the manga, and I love how he cares for each and everyone of his friends—heck, he broke his arm for Maka and swore to let anyone tear his fucking spine apart as long as it kept his friends safe. When he faced Crona he also thought of how Maka would cry if she ever sees her and just—Blackstar, y'all. Idk abt u but I need a friend like this kid.

5) Tsubaki Nakatsukasa:MY SPIRIT ANIME CHARACTER ! Except she doesn’t really use swear words like I do, and she lives healthily. *shrug*

I see a lot of myself in Tsubaki—it may not be obvious here in the internet but I’m very shy and polite in real life. In fear of offending anyone I choose to go along with a lot of things and barely say no to stuff… Like Tsubaki. I also have a hard time saying what I feel… Like Tsubaki. And I feel very touched when people (like Blackstar) understand that I need time before I’m actually able to tell what I feel… Like Tsubaki. Lastly, when I’m angry I do a lot of things I don’t mean to do. Like Tsubaki. (one time she sent a ninja star to Blackstar’s head in the anime for peeping loudly, and went over to him the next second and said “oh did I do that ?”)

Tsubaki is a very lovely character. I love her for keeping up with Blackstar even though he’s very stupid most of time, and for, like—being the mother of the squad. Yes. Cheers to my spirit anime character please.
