Since 9-11 it seems that there has been a an exaggerated blood lust in the eyes of Americans. We Americans have abandoned our humanity to a certain extent. We can condone the deaths of innocents overseas as collateral damage, but we mourn when innocents die on our own soil at hands of one of our own. I'm sorry, but I know with everything in me we can't have it both ways, because a human life is a human life regardless of where that person resides. Until we return to our humanity we're going to Las Vegas happen again. Until we raise are collective intellect and choose what is right, over what is wrong, we are going to see Sandy Hook happen again. I know we don't want to see another Parkland, so what are we willing to do to prevent this from happening again? As for myself I'm running the race back to my humanity, do you care to join me? Please stand for humanity, or we will witness ourselves slowly devolve into the animals we have fought so hard not to become. We can do better than this.
