I unfucked the house yesterday.
All the crap piled up from working for a month straight was cleared away. I bought a new coffee canister, kitchen utensils tin and a bamboo flatware tray so we can reorganize the kitchen. Dishes and flatware have been ordered and should be here within a week or so.
I folded all the laundry we washed on Tuesday and washed all the dishes, cleaned the bathroom and finished 5 hours of online training in 2. It was a productive night - I even managed to shower, something I had desperately needed. Oh and I meal prepped for the next 3 days.
I'm working the first of three 12 hr shifts with my Samoan, usually this would be my Friday but this week i Work th - sat because of my vacation time. I made sure to prep dinner for the next couple of shifts so I can eat with my Samoan- he always wants to share his food but I'm on my diet again effective today. I made salmon and sweet potatoes last night and bought a bag of iceberg salad for the next few nights.
It felt really good to have everything ready for my work week. I like having the whole place cleaned and tidy and have everything ready to go for the next day. I had even laid all my clothes out.
I am definitely going to start making smoothies however I'm going to wait a few weeks until I buy a blender. I don't get paid time off so I need to make sure I have a healthy bank account balance before spending a ton of dough. It's not just the blender that concerns me but the supplies- i.e. buying frozen fruit, dark leafy greens, almond milk, etc. I'm sure there's a financially viable way to do it without breaking the bank I just need to figure out how - maybe I'll have to grow a bunch of veggies, idk.
