spent basically all new years day watching the entirety of flux and honeslty for a series written entirely by chinball it actually wasn’t even as bad as his eps from series 12. Half looking forward to moving on to the specials and finishing off this whole era

#his timeless child plotline is still dogshit though #not counting how hard the whole plot falls arat towards the end either #his insistence on making his whole era about rewritting and retconning the doctor's backstory into them ebing some sort of god figure #is honestly like the worst thing he does #and for that alone i wouldnt be completely upset if his whole era and all it brought to the table gets totally swept aside with davies #even the stuff i've really enjoyed from his time like the music/aesthetic choises #the new opening especially is probably my favorite out of the new series ones #but everything else he's brought to the table is so between middling and bad that it wouldnt surp[rise me if they go for a full shift #and still for as good as s13 was i can only really even say it was better than s12 #because if i ever wanted to revisit six eps from his era i sure as shit wouldnt pick these six #probably a mix of some of s11 and 12's best #anyway #gotta figure out what the actual viewing order is for s14 since they all seem to be specials and the site im watching on has been out of ord #but i prob wont watch it tonight #prob save it for some other day #give myself a break from chin man's antics
