how much does it take for your muse to hate someone?
Ehhh...not much, she’s kind of a bitch. BUT. She can be also be brought around with a little determination.
what subjects or topics does your muse avoid, because they bring up harmful / painful memories?
Mona hasn’t had a lot of trauma in her life aside from people being generally shitty. However, she is very cautious around people given their perceptions. In common conversation, she’s going to avoid religion and work topics because she doesn’t like having to suddenly field questions about her personal beliefs and occupation.

Questions for people with OCs: ✕
What were some earlier associations you had with your OC? Are they still relevant?
I always strive to write her as a femme fatale. Dunno if I’m really handling that these days since I’ve refocused her as more of a witchy woman, but I think it’s still there. Sort of. Idek. XD; I don’t get enough practice writing her tbh. Should fix that.

Meta Meme: Selina's Catwoman outfit, either verse
Well, we saw how it was made in Burtonverse, which, still one of the coolest scenes in cinema and honestly, Nolan’s iteration it’s just a fucking leather catsuit that she prolly bought at an S/M shop. So! Burtonverse it is because there’s more of a story there considering she sewed it herself!
The vision of Selina Kyle pre-Catwoman is an interesting take on here and I don’t like any other in her many different canons. She’s kinda of mousy and neurotic. She was definitely kind of a lonely cat lady who was really trying to be a independent woman and make it on her own, but she wanted to have the white picket fence and successful husband and family. When she was in high school she took a lot of homemaker electives. Cooking, uh, iirc there’s a homemaking elective itself that teaches sewing and shit, right? Right, so she took one of those and really excelled. If she had pursued it as an actual career, Selina could have been quite successful.

What is your muse’s relationship like with their siblings? Who do they get along with best?
Welllll...in case anyone doesn’t know yet, John has a sister named Cheryl. Now, there’s a lot that was never fully elaborated about her life, but it seems to have worked out that given she’s what? Five years older than John? Idek. I could look it up, but I’m feeling too lazy to google right now. Anyway, seems to me her story is very sad, she got knocked up by her first(?) serious boyfriend, got married, and it just ended up...to be a very unhappy union. So she left the home before John, some time before he was seventeen, right?
Anyway, I have the feeling they were somewhat estranged while John was being a crazy punk rock star, spooky occultist in London. I don’t think it was out of spite or anything like that, just that they were living very different lives at the time. Low-key, I have this idea that he didn’t see Cheryl again or meet Gemma until after his release from Ravenscar, before he skipped off Stateside. I think he was definitely humbled by the entire Newcastle clusterfuck and messed up by Ravenscar, and was really re-evaluated his life and what was important to him.
Anyway, point is, their relationship was somewhat strained, though he loves his sister VERY MUCH. John is very protective of her and his niece, to the point of the questionable behaviour such as keeping his distance for years at a time. Also it doesn’t help that Cheryl’s husband (I can never remember his name. Fuck.) more or less haaaaates John. So like...it’s a mess, honestly?
Gdi, DC YOU HAVE THE POWER NOW. INSTEAD OF PUTTING HIM IN DUMB OOC SCENARIOS OR USING OTHER CHARACTERS TO MAKE HIM SEEM LIKE A PATHETIC MANCHILD WHY DON’T YOU GIVE HIM HIS FAMILY BACK. FUCK. CHRIST. NO INSTEAD LET’S RETCON NERGAL’S BLOOD BACK IN HIS VEINS. SO MUCH COOLER RIGHT??????????
#*continues to incoherently scream abt this*#prodigalpage#now what've you got for me? ( asks answered )

What would they do if they witnessed an alien ship crash landing?
OK BUT NOW THAT YOU’VE WATCHED THE MCU SERIES WE HAVE A LOT THINGS TO CONSIDER WITH THIS QUESTION.
Now for as much as I loved the integration of events in the movies, I really wish there had been more reference to where everyone and what they were doing during the big battle in New York. Like obviously it’s been months since then, but still. I have to wonder if Luke saw any of that. Honestly though? This is Luke we’re talking about. I think he’d be concerned over protecting any bystanders and the identity of the aliens inside. Like do they need help or do I punch them in the head and figure it out later?

Does Mona have any weird, irrational fears or inherent dislikes?
She doesn’t figures in authority, which isn’t entirely irrational given that she does illegal shit from time to time. Although it’s not just cops, she doesn’t care much for national or local government and the church.
An irrational fear I think would be commitment. I think she’s afraid of letting anyone have that much power over here. That’s how she considers it. She’s either too self-centered or self-reliant, depending how you look at it to consider it a partnership. Like, maybe it could be different with a woman, but men, one a whole, she’s very aware of power dynamics and wants no part of that shit.

50 oddly specific headcanon asks: 13, 37, 50
What is your muse’s favorite candy?
Honestly? I don’t tend to think John likes sweets all that much. Certainly not enough to have a favourite.
Did your muse ever own a Tamagatchi?
All I can picture is his flummoxed look, furrowed brows, and a confused ‘wot?’
If your muse could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
I think he’s really uncomfortable with the fact that occult books are sold in like big box bookstores, and not just magic theory, either, but like stuff with actual spells. That pisses him off to no uncertain degree. The day he saw the Necronomicon at a chain store, he not only bought out the stock to burn them, but also probably didn’t shut up about how dangerous it is to anyone who would listen.
