Today I finished “Programmed Inequality: How Britain Discarded Women Technologists and Lost Its Edge in Computing” by Marie Hicks. The title pretty clearly shows what the book is about. Women have been part of computing history from the beginning, but sadly have been hidden and forced to not make a career in computing from the beginning as well. Highly recommend the book. #programmedinequality #womenintech #stem #computinghistory #Britain #technology
