did shrooms for the first time last night and did the thing where you watch the wizard of oz with pink floyd's the wall (not dark side of the moon, see tags) which was awesome bc i'd never really listened to that album before. never really listened to a lot of pink floyd in general partially bc it didn't feel right to get into it while not on shrooms or something. anyway it was fantastic i loved it. also man i love the wizard of oz. that movie came out in the 30s and now every movie after just has try to live up to that and they don't. like it's so easy to take it for granted bc it's so quintessential and ubiquitous but man what a masterpiece. i've seen it so many times and judy garland still makes me cry

#everything online says you're supposed to use dark side of the moon but that's stupid because that album is so short you'd have to listen to #it like 5 times #i did all this w my mom (she's so cool) and she's done it before with both albums and she also said the wall fits way better #like comfortably numb comes on during the scene with the poppies??? that parts crazy #also i haven't listened to dark side of the moon yet but the wall actually references the wizard of oz in the trial(? i think)#yeah it's the trial #''crazy - over the rainbow - he is crazy''#i mean neither are made for the other anyway so it really doesn't matter but idk the wall fits really well #fantastic album. i love rock operas #it barely even feels like different songs it's so cohesive #my posts #drugs #ps i cannot believe that shrooms are illegal in most places in the us like what the hell #they're not even harmful or anything and they can be really good for mental illness and recovery from addiction #like so many doctors are fighting for legalization bc they could help so many people #and even recreationally like?? they're certainly not worse than alcohol
