THE BIRDS HAVE RETURNED!!

I finally got around to giving other character design concepts! They're pretty messy, and still need a lot of tinkering and adjusting, but it's a start!

Loboto is like a plague doctor! He believes there's some intense illness that needs to be eradicated, so he does crazy experiments to "help" People.

The left side of him is really damaged and scarred up bc he was attacked by a Cider (cat spider) which is why he's missing his left arm, and his wing is so damaged making it so he can't fly.

Oleander is still pretty much the same as how he is in the game, struggling to incorporate all the bird aspects I want.

And ofc Robin bc it's not a max post without them

I designed Raz for the Wingz au! He's an Oil bird!!

I think he wants to be apart of the council one day! He's a part of Trade and scouting, so he explores outside of the main village tree and brings back trinkets and items he finds!

Notes about said anatomy

-chest is larger and bumps out further to account for larger lungs and muscles

-collarbones sits lower to account for Crop

-lower spine/tail bone is larger and longer for tail

Have you considered mating rituals based on individual bird species and if so, please imagine Sasha and Milla in the wings au trying to "attract" the other using their species respective techniques except it takes them far to long to realize that they're legitimately flirting

Yes!! They have specific dances and performances when they're attempting to Court someone!

Some of the peeps who are Bird of paradise dance like THEIR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT

Peacocks have a very visual and intense display of shaking their tail feathers and spinning around to show off, whole crows are a lot more simple with dancing and puffing up, with some vocal calls

Neither realize how much the other is flirting with them because but they are TRYING SO HARD!!!

I was thinking on stuff for the Wingz au!

I think its both a cultural and safety thing for people to carry their eggs with them! Anyone of any gender can carry too :}

I think the outer shell resembles snake eggs that have more elastic shells during incubation; then it hardens to resemble a typical bird egg!

New borns can’t hear for the first 48 hours of life, and then cannot see for the first week.

If we're going by the rule of applying nonhuman verbal cues, I can only imagine Raz having moments where he chirps or peeps for an adult (self sufficient as he is, he's still just a little guy and I'm sure there are times where he wants to be close to someone e.g. Augustus, Milla, etc.)

Yes!!! Whenever he peeps for an adult and the closest one is BOOKING IT to his location.

Gotta protect the babies!
