me when tumblr recommends me someone defending dr3 in the tags and i read through the entire thing and get mad bc they don't understand what brainwashing really is.

I watched ET as a kid. Was traumatized. Haven't seen it in 30+ years. Then I read a ST book about how heavily it's influenced by ET so I'm fucking watching it again and these things are so fucking creepy. 😭

Update: I acknowledge ET's cultural significance, but personally do not care for the movie or the creature itself. Also, if that thing had squawked and waddled at me, I'd have kicked it into the next galaxy.

To the dead: How does it feel knowing that when you wake up, you’ll die? It must be scary.

Not gonna lie, its a very scary thought. And to make matters worse when you wake up...you forget everything here until you come back.

Doesn't really matter to me, I died for a good cause.

It's not just the fact I die....its the fact I kill one of my closest friends while under my sister's deranged mind control...and can do nothing about it.

it’s actually kind of humiliating how my brain just cycles from being soul crushingly sad to unbearably horny to being absolutely full of rage. and then circling back around to guilt for feeling any of this. i really can’t tell if I’ve got some sort of hormone imbalance (would be unsurprising) or if i just flat out have mental issues that i need to deal with
