My Right To Pursue Happiness

“The pursuit of happiness is often viewed as a fundamental human right. But surprisingly enough, true happiness is less a result of personal circumstances than a reflection of a person's attitude and approach to life.

Happy people use hardship as an opportunity to reevaluate their priorities, to gauge whether they're spending their time the way they really want to.

Happy people are optimistic enough to have hope, but they're also realistic enough to be able to distinguish between what they can control and what they can't. And they focus their attention and effort on what they can.

Happy people will never let fear, previous failures, ambivalence, feelings of helplessness, procrastination, perfectionism, misconceptions about what's actually involved, or perceived roadblocks hold them back.”
