currently having sort of a mid semester break crisis. 

i’m thinking of transferring out of sociology after this first year. tbh i really have no passion whatsoever for this course and getting through the first semester was hard enough, let alone do it for another 7. I didn’t want to do this semester because it would mean starting off later and potentially having a very odd time in university since everyone else would be one semester ahead. 

my options right now are to 

1) either take a leave of absence and not go for classes ( and also not pay for the semester ) then reapplying to physiotherapy in ANOTHER university

2) go through the semester and just suck it up for the next 3 years

3) go through the semester and change after, thereby incurring a sunk cost of $8k for ‘wasting a year’

4) go through the semester and hopefully be able to do a SECOND major in either english or history on top of my sociology degree ( which requires a minimum gpa of 4.0 so essentially i would have to maintain whatever grades i have right now and try to score the same as I did this semester ). It’s out of 5.0 so no, i’m not as smart as you think i am lol

idk man does anyone have any thoughts on what i should do?

I have a job right now that I’m cool with, the people are great but the pay is average. I got another offer that pays considerably more but I’m not sure I like the environment... I’m seriously at a crossroad ugh I hate making absolute decisions
