as someone obsessed with phils hardcore lore, this stream is quite literally a dream come true for me. the fact that not only were we right in assuming the first letter was from rose, the flower goddess, we also were right in assuming that the ender king was the one sending the second letter.

for ease of comprehension, everytime i use qphil, i will also be talking about hcphil!

i also find it fascinating that this suggests the ender king is alive. for those unaware, in the current time of phils hardcore world, the ender king has been defeated. you may be familiar with the endlantis project; the flooded end realm phil made. the whole reason endlantis exists is because it was how the ender king was defeated, the other 5 deities in the world redirected his attempt to merge all 3 realms together to an overworld ocean.

so the fact is seems the ender king is alive, and not only is alive, he is ACTIVELY looking to help qphil? we know the ender king is selfish and only does things with a motive to gain power, so, is the ender king looking to take over quesadilla island?

but even then, there holes in that theory, because the ender king isnt the only one to reach out from the hc deities. rose has too. albeit a lot kinder and gentler in making him realise his 'dreams' weren't dreams, she still reached out. so is the pattern to continue? is the blaze empress going to reach out? is the ocean overlord going to? it strangely seems as though the deities are united in this, even if the ender king has ulterior motives to do so.

its going to be really interesting to see how they incorporate the hardcore lore, its already been interesting seeing how the admin writing the letters interprets their personalities. i hope the ocean overlords letter is like 'hiya m8, sorry for this, sure this is baffling. but uhh i wanna help u man'

its also going to be interesting to see how they handle the black concrete. the qsmp uses black concrete as a way to represent the shadow virus, but hcs4 uses it to depict void; hence the nethervoid. we've already seen a difference in how it's affected qphil versus, say, qforever

Fit made the comment that Phil’s wing are completely covered but Phil himself couldn’t see it. So hc is he jumped from a high place and tried to fly, not realising his wring could be too stiff and too heavy

I’ve been thinking a lot about Deathduo/Pissa specifically in our canon/ig headcanons

Philza is the moon, not the sun, and Missa is the sun, not the moon. Philza is first creation and life. Missa is second creation/repurposing and death. Philza was “born” on the last day of the last month, rather than the first day of the new year, and Missa was “born” on the first day of the new year, not the last day of the last month.

It’s so interesting to me how they adhere to some more typical tropes, with life being creation, but a lot of more typical life/death dynamics are entirely flipped for them. Like the sun/moon one. How Philza’s “birthday” was the last of everything, despite him being the creation.

Wouldn’t you expect life’s “birthday” to be the new, unfolding year? And vice versa for Missa. Wouldn’t you expect death to be on the last of everything, teetering toward the end? Wouldn’t you expect something as cold and frightening as death to be linked to the moon, the nighttime? For life to be associated with the warmth of the sun? No. It’s flipped.

And, wouldn’t you anticipate death to be destruction? For life to be creation? Why is life remarked as the angel of death? Why is death remarked as a sinfonia, a symphony, something beautiful and new? There isn’t an end all, there’s life beyond death. Sure, it may be a limbo, but there’s death in life and life in death.

Why do so many mythos depict them as polarizing opposites when they’re so much more similar than you’d think, than you’d like? Why is life colder than death? Death warmer than life? Why are they more alike and more reversed than mythos depict them?

Did you know that life was born from the death of a star and that death was born from the new life brought to clay by the potter’s hands?

• Huge wings, ofter gets back pain from them

• Crow hybrid ofc!!

• His wings are strong and healthy, but very fluffy so they are warm but hard to preen as they get messy easily

• He doesn't fly a lot, mostly to get from the wall to the ground

• Sometimes takes Tallulah or Chayanne to fly with them :3

• Duck hybrid

• Doesn't fly at all, she probably doesn't really know how to fly

• qForever and Pomme often help her to preen her wings, it makes their bond stronger

• Her wings are really neat and well-kept

• They are rather small so they aren't really useful. Sometimes uses them to warm pomme but only when she is holding her

• Wraps her wings around the other person when she is hugging them!! It's all avians thing

• Also big wings but not as big as qPhil's

• She used to let only qRoier and bobby preen them.

• She stopped preening them at all after Bobby's death, and she mostly is too tired to do it herself so either qRoier does that for her or sometimes qCellbit, as she trusts him enough now

• She flies a lot!! She likes flying but her wings often hurt from not preening them

• Her left wing is damaged from explosions so it hurts sometimes too

• Used to keep qRoier and bobby warm at night when they were living together

• He doesn't know how to fly and he couldn't fly anyways

• His wings are a bit smaller than qBaghera's because he is shorter than her

• Tilin preened his wings a few times

• So he doesn't gaf about them anymore

I'm not a qPhil lore head but it fucks me up that as far as I can tell he has always bee acutely aware that everything he does will never be enough to protect chayanne and Tallulah if the powers that be decide it's not enough.

The password protected doors would never save them if they weren't supposed to be saved. It was always all just bargaining

I got Hades for Christmas and I’m a little obsessed with it atm and it got me thinking…

Zagreus is so sassy but also respectful and truly cares about his loved ones. And I got a dialogue where he was talking to Achilles and he called him “sir” and I was like “omg his literally an older Chayanne” and now I’m making this post.

I think it would look something like:

Chayanne- Zagreus

Philza- Achilles

Kristin- Nyx

Curochuro- Hades

Missa- Patroclus (I wasn’t sure if I should switch him and Kristin or not but I figured because he keeps being separated from Phil this made more sense)

I think the Olympian gods could be the other islanders. Who are trying to help him “escape the island”

I like the idea of Techno being Chaos, especially because you have so sacrifice HP to open the Chaos gates. Kinda like the whole “blood for the blood god” thing

Maybe Fred and Tubbo as Orpheus and Eurydice

I’m not sure who I would assign to the various bosses. Maybe ElQuackity as Theseus? And I wanted to include Tallulah in here but I’m not sure what role she would fit either! I don’t see her being one of the characters who don’t support Zag. I was thinking maybe Thanatos because he still helps Zagreus but is sad he’s leaving?
