OK, so woodworking is hard everyone! Phew! I’m using scrap wood that we have lying around the shop, mostly because cutting into fresh wood with my math skills is stressful! Measure twice and cut thrice or something like that. Anyway, we’ve got floors and 3 walls and I didn’t cry, which I think is a testament to my love for quails and overall fortitude. . Rubber Ducky is going to step in to help with the 2nd floor, ramps, and backdoors. Phew, there’s been a lot of hard work going on in the Barrows this week. I’m working intensely to clear out overgrown brambles in our “unresolved areas” as @themontydon likes to call them. I know you’re familiar with these, the places where that broken woodchipper, holy grass catch, and hairy chicken wire ended up. The plan is to turn this area into a deck instead, since it’s so nice and wind protected. The back area will be for our quail coop.
