“I mean, I already made lunch.” Shadow pointed at a large plate of grilled cheese sandwiches. “You always seem to forget that I DO know how to cook... and the mess is a lot better than it looks, I’ll be able to get it cleaned up pretty quick.” Shadow wiped his mouth on the back of his sleeve tossing the can away. “I was just getting a bit bored waiting for you, that’s all~”

❀ - Polka stared at the door in front of her, heart beating uncomfortably in her chest. Today was a big day - not only was she going over to Victor’s house for the first time and meeting his siblings, she was actually going to come clean to him about her magic. 

     Part of her knew that there was no one she could trust to accept her magic than Victor, but a large part was still convinced that telling anyone was a death sentence. As if meeting his family wasn’t stressful enough...      She should have put more thought into this.

     Well, too late now. She hesitantly knocked on the door, face already faintly flushed. Hopefully she wasn’t going to regret this. She quickly plastered a shy smile to her face as the door opened.

     “Ah, good morning...”

Another Death?

Taako sighed a bit as he sat at the just outside of a rift to the Astral Plane. He had just gotten the shit beat out of him by some powerful monster, and he was currently waiting for Merle or Magnus to heal him back up, whenever they got the chance. As long as they didn't get to fucked up he would be fine. Besides, it wasn't like he was going to get dragged into the Astral Plane, thanks to his connections with not only the reaper himself, Kravitz, but with the Goddess Istus as well. So it would be rather difficult to actually get him fully into the plane and 100% dead. Besides, this wasn't honestly all that bad, at least he'd get to chat with Kravitz for a bit.

He smiled a bit at the thought and gave a small, happy sigh. That would be nice.

Vivi’s voice broke the awkward silence, coming out a little louder than she’d actually meant it to. Her eyes darted between her companion and the walls a few times while she struggled to find something to say.

It wasn’t like she was nervous - heck no! She’d been in way more nerve wracking situations than this! - but she didn’t exactly have a lot of conversation starters memorized either.

     “Is this your first time chasin’ moth-man through the sewers?”

//oh boy, major announcement time!

So obviously I haven’t been as active with this blog as I claimed I was going to be. This is partly because I’m looking for a job and dealing with the holidays and all that good stuff. But partly it’s because I’m going to remake this blog! ...Again! Okay, hear me out.

I want to make some major changes to this blog. I’m removing a few muses, adding four new OCs, and I’m aging everyone up...sort of. I also want to give a narrative justification for why so many muses are in one location which means I’m gonna get a little Twilight Zone-y with the “mun” character. The mun will be a character! It’ll make sense later, I promise. All these changes (and more!) would be a little too much for one blog to handle so I’m archiving this blog and starting a new one. The name will be the same tho, so don’t worry about that too much. I just really like the handle QuillsMuseHub.

A lot of these changes require new character sheets, new icons, new about pages, and a lot of other work plus I’m still living a normal life. Maybe the new blog will be ready in the new year? Maybe? I’ll keep you posted.

For now I’m going to keep this blog chugging along. Well, mostly. I’m still clearly bad at actually responding to threads but I’ll get try to get back to it. We can transfer old threads to the new blog if there’s a demand for it. Or not, if nobody cares! Like all good things, we’ll sort that out later.

“C’mon, give it to me!” The one downside of being small, taller people taunting him like this. He was jumping up and down trying to snatch the letter, but Tori was pulling it away whenever he got close to grabbing it.

“I’ll fight you, I will!” He huffed, well aware of how childish he sounded. “Or I’ll.. I’ll... I’ll climb you! And I won’t apologise if I grab anything for a handhold that I shouldn’t grab!”

Victor felt a tinge of guilt as he read Polka’s text. It had been a while since he last saw Polka and it was largely because of how busy he was. Being a field assistant to a somewhat mad scientist wasn’t always easy. But still, Victor smiled at Polka’s message and he quickly typed a response.

[Text]: yeah, of course!! :)

[Text]: where do u want to meet up?

❀ - Any gap between messages was sadly enough for Polka to overthink things. She wasn’t usually the one to ask people on dates before (though she’d never had someone to ask on dates before Victor, either) and she knew he was always busy...

     All those worries were quickly extinguished by Victor’s response, though. A small smile tugged at Polka’s lips as she typed out her message.

It wasn’t very often a Tiefling came to a showing of Sizzle It Up With Taako, even rarer for a young Tiefling to come. Must have just been bored or wanted some free food. Not that Taako minded those reasons. An audience was an audience after all~

@quillsmusehub‘s Ross siblings have met an aquatic idol!

    Miku quietly pulled herself onto the beach, heart beating frantically. She was breaking all sorts of rules just by coming near here, let alone actually leaving the water, but she couldn’t help it! She’d found the perfect hiding place beneath a pier, and the beach was pretty unpopulated this time of year anyway. The few people who did come down here were usually too busy to notice the strange figure in the shadows of the pier.

    The best part, though, was that they usually brought radios. That’s why she was here in the first place: to listen to human music. She just couldn’t get caught while she was doing it.

    Despite that, she couldn’t help the excited hum that escaped her when she spotted a trio of humans approaching. She scooted a little closer to them so she could eavesdrop a bit better, though she stayed safely under the pier. Hopefully the sound of the waves covered the sound of her moving and the little splashing noises her tail made as it hit the water.

Taako opened the door to step out of his room when he noticed the bag. He picked it up and saw the note, smiling as he went back in and changed into the outfit. He looked in the mirror at the outfit and smiled brightly.

“Ah hell yeah! This is dope! Gotta remember to tell Regina to give my compliments to her tailor~ Might just wear this on my next date with Kravitz~”
