Fighting about (lack of) sex after baby (warning-birth injury details)

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but...

Been with husband for 9 years. Sex before baby was good-there were ups and downs of course but overall we had an active, happy sex life.

But- pregnancy was rough. I was sick until about 25 weeks, then there possible complications so we were banned from sex for a while, and then he was weirded out by the big, moving belly. Upshot- basically no sex for 9 months.

Then the birth was rough, too. I wasn't believed to be in labor until I was literally crowning, so was scared and with no pain relief and then the baby's heart-rate dipped. All was fine but I tore badly- including in the vaginal wall and the clitoris- and the stitches had to be done twice. And then i hemorrhaged.

The upshot is that I have some trauma and ongoing pain. And the baby has had some health problems, so is 6 months old and still in a cot in our room (as recommended by the drs).

We've had sex twice since the birth (though done non=penetrative stuff more), but it hurts a bit and scares me a bit (birth flashback plus I really don't want to experience anymore pain there). The baby is still breastfed and is a light sleeper and even though my husband helps, nights are basically on me and I'm up at least every couple of hours plus the baby wakes if I so much as roll over.

I'm tired, I hurt and truthfully I'm not that interested in sex. My husband's tried to be supportive, but I don't think he really understands my perspective, including the injuries. We've been doing more non=penetrative stuff but this morning he made it clear that it's not enough for him. He feels rejected and I don't really know what to do.
