I’m shooketh! Well tbh, how you treat another or see the other person is a direct reflection of who you are. I really had to fathom that. It’s crazy, but every person we meet knows us as a completely different person. I need this more than anyone! The way I respond to situations really says ally about a person. I struggle with always responding peacefully and calmly to the most emotional situations. People think that one should respond calmly to the most frustrating moments. However, I think that responding calmly should be applied to situations that are the most emotionally charged. In other words, it doesn’t matter whether one is extremely angry or even very happy. Honing your reactions to situations will help you master yourself. It starts by being mindful of your actions and reactions. Then, you can be more mindful of your thoughts. So I met an owner of a million dollar drone company through family a few months ago. He was talking to my brother and telling him that he hires engineers who have failed multiple times over an engineer who got it right the first time around. I didn’t understand exactly why he would say that. Turns out his reasoning was that an engineer who has failed multiple times knows what works and what doesn’t better than someone who got lucky. In addition, the advice of that failed engineer is worth more time and money than someone who got it right the first time around.
