Here is a classic Quaker Oats mascot, with Quisp and his sidekick, Quunchy, whom were created by Jay Ward. Here is an old Quaker commercial, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNdMUoy3H1A

Got three boxes of Quisp cereal today in the mail. Including a comic from John Kricfalusi's Spumco on the back of the box. The cereal is shaped like flying saucers with a corn and sugar coated taste.
Quisp is a pink alien with a green suit and a propeller on his head. He has a voice similar to Jerry Lewis and is originally portrayed by the legendary Daws Butler, the guy who voiced Hanna-Barbera's Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and Hokey Wolf. He is also the voice of Spike in the original MGM Tom and Jerry theatrical shorts.
Quisp is property of Jay Ward and Quaker Oats.
